My principal strength is persistence. I am persistent to the tasks I have in hand to get them accomplished. I try to do best in what I am doing to be successful in it. I can stay focused for a long period of time. One of my weaknesses is procrastination. Although it does not significantly affect my achievements, sometimes I do wait until the last minute to start something. I am working to improve this and I won 't let it affect my achievements. I consider health awareness as one of my strengths. I wake up early every morning. I eat a plenty of fruits and vegetables. I go for a 30-minutes walk every evening. Handwriting might be considered one of my weaknesses. Although legible it 's not as beautiful as it used to be two years ago. One of the reasons is that I did many practice papers for my IGCSE exam preparation where I didn 't put much effort in handwriting to manage time. Music is my strength. I listen to English, Bengali and South Korean songs. Listening to song particularly helps by giving me strength at my hardest times. It also helps me to deal with stress. Stress is another of my weakness. Sometimes during exam preparation when I don 't get enough sleep, I suffer from constant tiredness. I am open-minded and my class participation is very strong. I find collaboration as one of my strength especially during exam preparation and assignment completion. We get help from the teamwork which …show more content…
I was academically competitive and well performing. Things changed dramatically when we shifted to Oman. It was a smaller colony with people from different countries. I joined grade five in a school. It was mostly Hindi at colony and English at school. For all the time, I strained my nerves in order to understand what they were saying and why they were laughing. Constantly dealing with language differences and the new physical surroundings made me tensed. I failed to get my teachers attention like I used to do and my class participation had a downfall. Studying in a new language can be a stressful experience especially for a primary level student like me. I fell back in studies as my first term results showed. My parents were disappointed and so was I. And the day after my results I planned to change everything wrong with me. I started spending more time with my books. I watched both English and Hindi movies. What I did new was imitating the actors to get their way of speaking. I started communicating both in class and colony despite the awkward beginning. Deep down I knew I was improving. The results were astonishing. After about two months, I made a lot of friends and for my academic part, I became the second boy in class. My teachers started liking me. My class participation rose dramatically. As a life-learned lesson, I helped out the new students after me. Another obstacle was my
I tend to make excuses for myself. I like to stay on the couch and do nothing, when I knew I should be working. In softball, Our coaches tell us to put in extra work; the extra work helps become a better player. All the extra things I do help me out in the future. Another weakness I have is having a bad attitude.
My greatest academic strengths include critical thinking, critical reading, creativity, listening skills, and perseverance. I’ve gained these strengths by challenging myself academically. My greatest academic weaknesses include a short attention span, cramming, and not being a good test
No one person is the same as another, we all interact, behave, think and feel differently, and I think this is what amazes me the most. One strength that is substantive to my career that I believe I have, is empathy. I have always had such an efficacious sense of empathy with the people around me.
I think a personal strength of mine when it comes to Literacy and Writing is knowing when I can make the sentence better with a stronger word and a stronger meaning. An example of mine is that I always feel as if I can always make my sentences better by changing the word to a better
With these continuous marks, it is evident that I would be able to succeed and maintain a high average in post-secondary studies. Throughout my Highschool years, I achieved academic honours in all of my 32 courses. This status allowed me to support other students in achieving higher academic levels through sharing knowledge, motivation, inspiring confidence, and cultivating a passion for academics. It means going beyond personal gains in achievement scores to helping ensure fellow students have greater confidence and competence in their academics also. I excel in both the sciences as well as classes not directly related to my career path.
After knowing what my weaknesses are, I usually try to solve them and improve my skills. For example, I’m not a highly flexible and positive person, so I seek out to individuals who are flexible and positive in their lives and ask for their advice. Another strength that I have is that I usually have a positive outlook of my improvement, because I have seen examples of those who overcome their hardships and become successful in life, so I believe that if I try hard enough, I will be able to overcome my weaknesses. I’m also confident with my listening skills and my ability to focus on others and make them feel heard. I like to start on works and projects early so that if anything comes up, I will still have time to handle it.
Therefore, I had a big problem with my English since I did not speak English back then which made my first year very hard with struggles to get good grades. That is what made me into a better student because with bitter experiences I or anyone tends to grow and get better. It took me about one year to speak English well and understands what is going on. Thus After tasting the bitter experience of having a big struggle I started to get straight A’s in all my classes in my sophomore year up until now which made my GPA get better and better after my struggles in my first year at school in the United States. I always feel accomplished whenever I make an achievement making people recognize my hard work and talents feels satisfying which makes me more determined to achieve more in my college career.
I strongly value my health and believe that health is our greatest form of wealth. When one lives a healthy lifestyle, it means more opportunities to explore the world, build families, achieving anything the heart desires and conquering personal goals. The behavior change philosophy fits my personal philosophy of health education the most because it involves goal setting, behavioral contracts and self-monitoring to help foster the modification of an unhealthy habit. The behavior change philosophy is very important because change is a process, not an event. Self-efficacy and motivation are key factors in successful behavior changes.
I have become more determined which is one of my strengths. What I have done to stay more focused is make a list of my priorities that I need to stay on task with. It makes me feel better about myself when I check things off my list. I have been also persistent which is another strength that will help me succeed and will help me become a better
As a dreamer and queer woman of color, pursuing a career in STEM has been quite challenging. But I have never let anything get in the way of reaching my goals and dreams. I am a dedicated student and an analytical and skilled critical thinker who is eager to learn.

Another strength as a writer is i 'm good at ending my conclusions, restating my main point, and connecting my paper to my own life experience. As a writer when i 'm typing i look for little mistakes i may be missing such as periods, apostrophe and commas. My weaknesses as a writer is i but too many ideas that isn 't needed in my paper. I go off track and put things that aren 't related with what i 'm writing or trying to prove. This is one of my common errors.
Strengths and Weaknesses My three major strengths are medication administration, communication with patients, and asking questions when I do not fully understand something. I feel like throughout my preceptorship these have grown stronger, and have helped me to be successful. My three major weaknesses that I have been focusing on throughout my residency are communicating with physicians, completing skills I am unfamiliar with, and improving my confidence. I would say that these have improved quite significantly, but I still have a ways to go.
Strengths: As a student one of my strengths is organization. I can say I can keep my school materials and notebooks organized in a way that I and others can comprehend. The reason I can say I am organized is because, I have hardly ever had in the past or present any issues with trying to find homework or assignments because I always kept my materials for each class organized and in a place I could easily find. Another strength I have is social skills. I can believe that I communicate with others well in a group.
