PROFICEINCY OF EXTROVERT AND INTROVERT IN SPEAKING SECOND LANGUAGE AT INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
CHAPTER ONE
INTRODUCTION
English language has become the second language in Pakistan in order to have contact with people from other countries. Learning English Language as a second language is not easy as it needs a lot of practice and exercises. According to Carl Jung’s people personality can be classified into 3 criteria which are extraversion-introversion, sensing-intuition and thinking-feeling. However, in this research, only one criterion will be studied which is extraversion-introversion.
The trait of extraversion–introversion is a central dimension of human personality theories. The terms introversion and extraversion

CONTEXT OF STUDY
Field dependent and field independent learners have different tendencies and inclinations towards learning English as Second Language Learning. Field independent Extroverts have a flare for the tendency to separate details from the surrounding context whereas the field’s dependent Introverts have a relative inability to distinguish from other information around. Theories pertaining to Extroversion and Introversion distinguish each of the learners on psychological grounds. Field independent learners tend to rely less on the teacher or other learners for support.
Field dependent learners often work well in teams as they tend to be better at Inter-personal relationship to gauge proficiency level of both the learners, the researcher will use appropriate data collection means so that the competence level may be sought out. The study will be significant for all field dependent, independent learners and the common learners. The strategies and the styles of the Extroverts and Introverts learners will be known to all who take interest in learning English as L2

Sadiq Degree College for Women Bahawalpur. Only 100 students as participants of the study have been selected from the research settings to complete this study. So the work is restricted to participants living in Bahawalpur. In order to assess proficiency level of the field dependent and field independent learners, the researcher restricted himself to Questionnaires only.
SUMMARY OF WORK
The researcher has divided the study into five different chapters. The first chapter introduces the research title, significance, objectives, research questions and methodology of the study. The second chapter thoroughly reviews the major terms, studies done in this particular field of study and a view of the present study. The third chapter relates the methodology of study. The researcher gives a brief introduction of the tools employed here in this work, the way to collect the relevant data and mentions some difficulty in carrying out the work timely and intact. The chapter four gives vent to analysis, tabulation and interpretation of the data. The fifth and the last chapter enlist findings, summary of the results and recommendations of the

Extroverts can be some of the best people you meet. They have plenty to offer and thrive at the attention of others. However, being introverted can be just as great. In a society where being extroverted is the ideal, it can be very difficult to be an introvert. Susan Cain argues in her Ted Talk, “The Power of Introverts”, that introverts can share many brilliant ideas with the world and should be encouraged and celebrated for who they are.

There are many factors that can affect a child’s language and communication. Some of these factors can be positive; however, some can be negative. A cultural factor affecting emergent literacy could be children who have English as an additional language (EAL) this is because they know more of their native language than they do English and can be difficult to grasp another language at such a young age. Also some EAL children may have the knowledge of the English language and can speak the language however; their self-esteem, self-confidence and shyness could play a part in this and therefore may not be willing to use the English language. Also, EAL children may find it difficult to grasp the English alphabet.
Are those who are happier also more likely to be more extraverted? Introduction Are those who are happier also more likely to be more extraverted? Extraversion is operationally defined by The Big 5 Personality measure as having high levels of activity, assertiveness and cheerfulness. Those who are considered to have this personality trait tend to be more friendly, excitement-seeking and enjoy being in social situations.
In Susan Cain’s book, Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking she proves that introverts are vital to the world and everything typically thought of “the quiet ones” is wrong. She starts the book by introducing the idea of the introvert. This term is derived from psychologist Carl Jung who basically invented the personality test. When deciding on a name for different types of individuals, he called the more reserved people who gain their energy from being alone and are typically not very open introverts.
Based on Pavlov’s theory of strong and weak nervous systems, which is if someone with a strong nervous system has a better chance of tolerating higher intensities of stimulation, while a weak nervous system a person has a lower chance of tolerating high intensities of stimulation (Cloninger, 2013, p. 176), Hans Eysenck expanded to say that there are three more factors of personality, other than a tolerance towards stress. Extraversion is the basically the same thing as strong nervous system, where a person is still social during high stressful times (Cloninger, 2013, p. 177). Neuroticism is the second factor, where a person tends to be extremely emotionally during times of stress (Cloninger, 2013, p. 178). And lastly, is psychoticism where a person does not conform to cultural norms and can be classified as a social deviant during stressful times (Cloninger, 2013, p.
The concept of personality has fascinated psychologists for years. Allport proposed the hierarchy of traits – cardinal, central, and secondary traits (Allport, 1945). Cattell also proposed his theory, the sixteen dimensions of human personality (Cattell, 1944). Jung developed a type-based theory of personality, with different dichotomous personality categories, which was further developed by Myers and Briggs in 1962 to produce the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (Ford, 2013). Some psychologists have even argued that personality does not exist; that people change behaviour over time and across various situations.
Over the years, many theories have been developed to study the human personality. Some of the notable theories are psychoanalytic theory, trait theory, humanistic theory and behavioural theory. In this assignment, we have chosen to compare and contrast the psychoanalytic and humanistic theories. Psychoanalytic Theory
Methods: Information sources Both primary and secondary data were used in order to gather information for using in research paper in parts such as context and results. These materials were used to answer research questions in aims. Secondary research: Many information was electronically read in different sites. The available materials such as newspapers, journals, electronic information, news and magazines were reviewed and used. Primary research: There were applied a raw data.

If we look at the aim of psychology from this perspective, the aim is to look beyond superficial differences such as gender, race and culture to unveil these processes. In traditional psychology the “Self” is seen as a restricted or bounded and autonomous being. Internal attributes such as emotions, independence, thoughts, contextual factors as well as social factors defines the
This research essay would focus in the different causes of individual differences in personality. According to Hans Eysenck, a psychologist, he believed that personality develops from the inherited genes that are from our parents. He developed Big 5 theory which consisted of 5 basis traits that he believed to make up personality.
1.0 Introduction This is an individual assignment. This assignment is for KMC1093 Personality Development course in order to pass the course.
