Fashion today is so much more than the fascination you see on television and magazines. Defining trends nowadays is not an easy task. There is little systematic investigation of fashion in different socio-economic group. This literature explains that socio-economic group is very important. People adopt the fashion according own status, education and income. Peoples are getting the information about the fashion through television advertisement, fashion shows and also magazines, these advertisements also important for impressing adolesence girls, youngsters and womens to adopt new fashion. For the prospect result and information, a quantitative research methodology was chosen for this study because qualitative research is more flexible and interpretation of results may vary. The qualitative study does not focus on numbers, but on observations and the content of the interview (Zikmund, 2000). The purpose of quantitative research is to determine the quantity or extent of some phenomenon in the form of numbers. Compare to quantitative research, qualitative research is more flexible, discuss that qualitative research aims at generating theory rather than verifying a scale of a theory. The reason of choosing quantitative data was the study aims at realizing the effect of consumer perception regarding fashion. The authors need to understand consumers’ purchasing decision process regarding the fashion. RESEACH DESIGN: The research approach selected by researchers is quantitative approach.
