INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background of the Study
Motivation to learn is one of the components that can influence the students’ behavior to act in a desired way. Thus, it can lead them to the successful of education achievement. In addition, different students have different motivation that they believe can motivate them to learning. In education setting, students’ motivation to learn is something that crucial towards the institution that can give greater impact on the education system in particular country. It is governed the country to produce the larger number of intelligent and innovative people that can lead to the national development for that particular country. There are only few resources and latest articles journal and researchers available with regards to the scope of this research. However, some of it is inaccessible which could not be referred by the researcher. The researcher has also faced other limitations preceding this research so far such as time constraint. Furthermore, this study was confined to business faculty students’ only. Thus, there are limited to direct effect of motivation to learn.
1.8 Definition of Key Term
Motivation to learn – According to Keller (1979) curiosity must be aroused, meaningfully related to a learner’s goals, self-efficacy, relevant to personal value, satisfied and experiences with the learning outcome.
Cultural value – According to Hofstede (2001) is refer to a set of values, ideas, artifact and other meaningful symbols that help individuals to communicate, interpret and evaluate as a member of society.
Individualism – Based on Hofstede et al (2005) individual interest is more priorities over the interest of the group also known as loosely knit social

The American Dream does indeed still exist in todays society, and it is one 's job to try their hardest to succeed the values of their own American Dream. Because with everyone united one can succeed at achieving one’s own idea of the American Dream.
The Freshman 15 is a thought that crosses the minds of most future college students, but most say that it won’t happen to them. This fear of losing a toned body after graduating high school bothers some more than others. They realize after high school there are no longer athletics, and they’ll no longer be exercising regularly. Also, when they depart from their parents house and begin to live on their own their eating habits change.
Morality is a set of values held by a person in making when judging and evaluating what is deemed right or wrong, good or bad (Brandt, 1959). When we talk about morality in counseling it’s about the reasoning by the counselor that has four levels. They are, personal intuition, ethical guidelines established by professional organizations, ethical principles and general theories of moral action (Kitchener, 1984). Ethics is described as adopted principles that has relations to man’s behavior and moral decision making (Van Hoose & Kottler, 1985). Ethics is often thought as a synonym to morality.
Why Students Shouldn’t Have Homework There are around 365 days in a year, and in a school year, there are around 180 days. From the beginning of the school year to the end, the most common thing that students least like, is homework. Coming home after a long day of school, then having responsibilities to do at home, not to mention some students have after school activities which take up around 2 hours if not more. Homework for students is a barrier that makes it difficult for them to have any kind of social life, or spend time with their family. There are many reasons why students shouldn’t have homework, during this essay people will learn why having homework isn’t helping the student, except making things more difficult for them.
For many years, a question has been ask trillions of times throughout the homes of families. What are you going to do after High School? Everyday you hear many different answers and bunch of different lectures of what you should and what shouldn’t you do. Having many honorable mentions such as Steve Jobs, Dave Thomas, or Kevin Rose shows that college after high school is not the only option. Four-Year Universities are not practical choice for most Americans students after High School because of the lack of preparation for a college education,Student are pressured that having a college degree is the only way to maintaining a stable financial life , and A college degree doesn 't pay off for years .
“No Homework For Students” Imagine being able to go home and not have to worry about doing homework or a big project to present. There wouldn’t be any stress about school. Instead, you get to lay down and watch your favorite show. Then you could go to the park with your friends and play games, or do anything that interests you.
Teens Get Stressed Too Adults often believe that teens do not have much to be stressed about. Teenagers do indeed have a lot on their plate. Dealing with school, a job, school work, working towards getting their permit/license, sports, even things at home, teenagers tend to be extremely stressed. A majority of teenagers suffer from anxiety and depression from all of the pressure put on them.
In fact, individual emotional and motivational aspects should be considered [17]. Motivation is defined as a desire to make an attempt in order to perform duties and responsibilities and to use individual skills [18]. Academic motivation refers to behaviors that lead to learning and improvement [19]. It includes the tendency to perform well and to spontaneously evaluate one's own performance. Experts have devided motivation into two main groups, namely intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.
Context Motivation is regarded to be an important tool that can be utilized in accomplishing a given task. However, lack of motivation could result in inability to accomplish the task of poor performance. In this regard, it is worth noting that there are various factors that contribute to lack of motivation among individuals. Additionally, while an individual can be motivated at other times, some circumstances can make him or her to lack motivation. This reminds me of the time when we were doing group work that I realized that most of my group members were not motivated to do the assignment.
I have loved competition ever since a young age. I have several friends that I love to compete with. We compete everyday, whether it is sports or if it in school games. We have been competing for as long as I can remember. Although my friends and I believe that competition is a great thing at school, some parents and schools are trying to argue that we should remove competition from school.
“You’ve got a lot of street smarts, kid, but you need a college degree to succeed in business.” How many times have you been told this by prospective employers who shut the door in your face after learning you never attended, or didn’t fnish college? The stigma of lacking a college diploma could have dashed your dreams for a successful career—sending them straight out the door and into the trash bin. But wait, you’re intelligent, highly motivated, and you like to take risks! It’s not that college didn’t cross your mind; perhaps you didn’t have the funds, or maybe you just didn’t want to put your ideas on hold while you were sitting in a stuffy classroom for four years.
Everyone involved in our life has helped raise and teach us about almost everything as they all played a role in our lives. But how exactly did they play a role in our lives? In my opinion, they educated us on things that our time in school did not. In school, they teach us the same four subjects each year: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. However, they are not teaching us things that we would have to learn from experience later in our lives.
Everyone goes to school, everyone has homework. Homework has been a topic of interest for a very long time. Many students think that homework is not beneficial. However, without homework people wouldn’t remember what they learned in class. Homework gives kids the chance to prove what they have learned.
In this assignment, I will be writing on how to apply the principles of pedagogy in my area of specialism. Effective teacher uses diverse teaching strategies and universal approaches that suit situations, different strategies in different grouping of learners to improve learning outcomes, There are different teaching styles that suit different learners backgrounds and ability. Teachers are ldentified in their profession as ‘learning specialist’ , and there are five principles of good pedagogy which are Motivation, Exposition, Direction of activity and Inviting imitation. Andragogy is the best approach for effective delivery and pedagogy, both approaches must be used to ensure effective delivery. The principle is the idea of the curriculum and requirement of my subject area, I adopted pedagogy and andragogy that learners will understand The word motivation preceeds teaching at all times the teacher is preparing for delivery of effective and engaging instructional process.
By adopting these several motivational strategies in the classroom will affect the enthusiasm of the students in a positive way, thus promoting and sustaining
