Job satisfaction is the feeling of an employee gets when the job he does fulfils all his expectations. While morale refers to the attitude of the employees of an organisation and is a group concept, job satisfaction is the feeling of an individual employee.
Job satisfaction has been defined as a ‘pleasurable or positive emotional state resulting from the appraisal of one’s job or job experiences.

This enables him to learn the art of managing crisis. Such persons, in view of their ability to tackle any critical work situation, should naturally have greater job satisfaction than those who are inexperienced. It may be mentioned here that the age and experience of a person need not go together.
Ability
An employee who lacks the capability to perform his job, obviously, cannot derive job satisfaction. Performance is vital for job satisfaction. Only those who have the ability will be able to perform. It may be mentioned here that the satisfaction accruing to a person out of the monetary benefits he gets from his employment is temporary. In the long run, performance alone can give him satisfaction.
Perception
Job expectation differs from person to person. This is in view of differences in one’s perception. Some individuals may be interested in challenging jobs while others may be interested in routine work. Still, there are some who may be prepared to do any work for the sake of monetary benefits. So, there exists a greatest need for the teacher to be effective. This area of teacher effectiveness draws a keen interest of educationists and researchers. The teacher effectiveness can be achieved through work life balance of school teachers. It has been studied in relation to various teacher related variables. There may be many others factors also which may have a definite impact on teacher work life balance. Various researches are conducted to identify the relationship between demographical variables (Gender, age, marital status, education, experience) and work life balance. Some of the researches identified the various factors which influence the work life balance. The factors may be personal factors and organisational factors. Individual researches carried out on personal factors like attitude, stress, Emotional Intelligence and their impact on work life balance and organisational factors such as flexible work arrangement, organisational commitment, and work life balance.
