Scene 1
Setting : In the dilapidated forest
Time: Morning
Narrator 1: The sun shines as bright as thousands of diamonds. The birds are chirping on the trees. The bees are busy collecting sweet fresh honey from the blooming flowers. Oh it is spring season! The fairies and elves seem very busy doing their morning routines. But, wait! Someone is not here. Where is the beautiful fairy princess?
Narrator 2: Rosemary! Rosemary! Where are you dear princess? Oh no, what has happened to her? Hey, Look! Is that Rosemary?
(Lights on. Rosemary is sleeping under a shrub tree. She looks very tired. Suddenly, she opens her eyes slowly and frowns. There is something on her forehead)
Rosemary: (Leans on the tree and touches her forehead) Ugh, my head hurts.

Rosemary: (Interrupts the conversation) What’s in your hand? It looks beautiful. May I see it?
Monster Mumu: No! You can’t!
(Monster Momo whispers to Monster Mumu’s ear. After a while, Monster Mumu nods his head.)
Monster Mumu: I change my words. You can take this if you want, but with one condition.
(Rosemary takes some times to think before she said yes. Then, the monsters give the magic wand to her. She uses her magic wand to find her way back to the kingdom. Lights off)
Narrator 1: Is that all? What was the condition asked by the ugly monsters? I don’t believe the two monsters will let go of Princess Rosemary easily.
Narrator 2: That’s true. The monsters must have planned something bad on her or they were just trying to be kind.
Narrator 1: No! Why on earth they want to be kind to others? It will only happen when the world is going to end.
Narrator 2: Stop talking nonsense! Silly you! I better focus on what is going to happen rather listening to your nonsense thought.
(Rosemary arrives at Renosia safely. Her people are very happy to see her. They prepare delicious food for Rosemary and dab on special remedies on her forehead to cure the wound. Rosemary tells them what has happened and she said that the monsters wanted to own this kingdom as a return of kindness for helping

Rosemary sits in the garden with her people whilst waiting for the moon to change shift with the sun. The four gnomes hide somewhere and are ready to attack. As expected, the monsters come early before the sun rises.)
Narrator 1: Look! The monsters arrive early! And there are many of them!
Narrator 2: Oh no! Do you think the gnomes have prepared enough magic potions to attack the monsters?
Narrator 1: Uh oh! I have no idea. I hope they did.
Rosemary: (Shocks) Oh! You come so early. And it looks like you bring all your friends too.
Monster Mumu: (Eyes wide-opened) I don’t want to listen to you! Please get away from my kingdom! Now!
(All the other monsters are laughing very hard while looking at all the small creatures.)
Narrator 1: “My kingdom”? I feel like I want to chop their heads! The monsters are very rude and have no shame at all!
Narrator 2: Shhhhh!
Rosemary: (Smiles) Welcome to your newly-owned kingdom Monster Mumu. I hope you will take good care of this kingdom. But…
Monster Mumu: But what?!
Rosemary: Be patient. Let me finish my sentence. There is one custom that you need to obey when you first enter this kingdom. Everyone of you need to sit in the garden and blow a flute to show respect to all the magic creatures who live here. Or else this kingdom will disappear
“I thought you were dead. I killed you! I stabbed you twice”! , said Natasha. After a moment of silence, Edmund slowly entered the room and smothered Natasha.
(Takes the DUENNA aside.) May I have a word with you? The Duenna: Have a few more, if you like.
I try not to look. I want to leave, but that would just ruin the moment a lot more that I am ruining it now. This is awkward. Moment officially ruined. "Bunny, you 're the best thing that has ever happened to me," he whispers.
No insects hover over the dying plants or the well. The entire yard sparkled with diamonds of frost that quickly melted into millions of drops of water with a gentle kiss of the sun….Frost…”(210) The frost has appeared which indeed killed the insects and in favor would also kill of most of the sickness. Matties luck just continues to look up with lots of hope that she will the survive the next day better than she did today's. “ “Nathaniel.”(116)”
After Edna and Robert finally kiss, Edna, overcome with her emotions, states her concerns, “A vision - a transcendently seductive vision of a Mexican girl arose before her. She writhed with a jealous pang” (139). This amount of revelation and resentment intensifies the reader’s emotions. Without this important detail provided, the emotional connection between Robert and Edna, would lack strength. The reveal of this jealousy would only work sensibly while revealed in a moment of self searching and reflection.
It took so long.” I said. “I was so scared I didn’t know where you went we all were very scared.” Marika said sadly. “We looked everywhere and when her were driving down this road something made me come here to look for you
‘Do you have a name at least?’ ‘Ruby,’ I whispered. It was the last words I spoke for nearly a year”(Bracken 36). This is important because these
She uses the words ‘died’, ‘terror’, ‘fear’, ‘dark’, ‘risk’, ‘strain’, and ‘hellish’; which are all words associated with danger or negativity. In contrast, Irene enjoys being a mother and always thinks about her children when making decisions. She feels motherhood is a strong life-long responsibility that can definitely be stressful, but is worth it in the long run. She feels such an obligation to her children that she puts their needs before hers. “Nor did she admit that all other plans, all other ways, she regarded as menaces, more or less
When Jeanette believes she see’s something moving under her bed, she is frightened and goes to her father for help. Rex refers to it as the demon and begins to look for it with Jeanette. At the same time, he tells a story of scaring off the demon in the past, saying, “that was the thing to remember about all monsters; they loved to frighten people, but the minute you stare them down, the turn tail and run” (37). With this metaphor for life, Rex explains the importance of facing challenges with determination and courage. He ensures that Jeanette understands significance of never giving in to fear and the importance of persevering against doubtful situations.
[Looking down below as the plane cruise down to land the clouds look like cotton balls with tiny toy buildings peeking out. My stomach was filled with butterflies. I can’t believe it. I am visiting the United States on a work visa with my band. I can’t believe it.
Molly Childree Fleischbein EH 102.147 Draft February 5,2018 Our world is full of monsters, some imaginary, but most are legitimate and terrifying. In his text “Monster Culture (Seven Theses)”, Jeffery Jerome Cohen examines the use of monsters in literate and cinema. Cohen makes the claim that the use of monsters, historically and presently, in forms of entertainment symbolizes more than just the fear they instill in audiences. A monster is no longer just a monster.
“No one will know,” Laila breathed. “No one will find us.” “They will sooner or later. They’re bloodhounds.” Mariam’s voice was low, cautioning; it made Laila’s promises sound fantastical, trumped-up, foolish.
Beowulf said” I am going to fight that monster!” The people of the town were surprised but happy that Beowulf would fight the monster. Beowulf came to the rescue. He decided to fight the big scary monster.
For example, at Sera’s witchcraft trial, she describes the townsfolk as having “shocked faces” and “stormy eyes narrowed in accusation” (Brody 83). These phrases demonstrate the hatred and fear that the people felt towards Sera because of her abilities and appearance. Particularly, “shocked” shows how sharply frightened they were
This Fear is an existential fear which holds her in a chokehold. Concerning the topography, the forest represents the epitome of danger. Next, he ‘[grabs] out at her […] and his hand [clutches] her shoulder’ (p. 29, 63).
