Every answer to each challenge we face can be found in within the pages of the bible. Unethical business practices can impact customer satisfaction and commitment. Ignoring unhappy customers is not a good practice for business. Consumer satisfaction can affect the reputation of the company and its products. This is significant because consumers use word of mouth referrals to get information out about a business, whether it is good or bad. If a business receives a complaint about a product, the business should respond immediately and try to find a solution for the consumer as soon as possible. This is the right thing to do and can prevent a negative brand experience. Another unethical and deceptive tactic in marketing is intentionally misrepresenting a product’s abilities. As Christians and business professionals, we should conduct business, including marketing and advertisement, with a high level of …show more content…

P3 Customers are the primary priority to all businesses which are making a lot of profit and their aim is to increase making profit, as without them, businesses such as McDonalds, would not be able to make any profit from their services. This is the reason that clients are essentially important in the process of associations interacting with them. McDonald 's guarantees that they keep track of the customers satisfaction as they are making sure that they provide a good customer service to their clients, as it can possibly promt customers into purchasing more products. By doing so, both McDonald 's and their customers are going to be satisfied and happy as the clients are the ones financing into the business and the clients themselves are on the other side, the receiving end, of good quality products. Never the less, if McDonald 's don 't monitor the customer 's satisfaction, the will probably be passing up a great opportunity to built on what their customers ' feedback was
Having a good customer satisfaction will help increase their customer base, which will increase revenue and allow more profit and this will give the business a good name and reputation. Customer satisfaction means the level of how pleased your customers are. Tesco ensures they have great customer satisfaction by training their employees to the best
Integration: Mixing Psychology and Christianity Latoya Alston Liberty University Summary In the book Integrative Approaches to Psychology and Christianity, David N. Entwistle (2010) forces readers to question whether or not psychology and Christianity can be integrated. As the book begins, he argues that integrating the two disciplines is difficult because there are two perspectives in which a person can view the world: from a secular perspective or from a Christian perspective (Entwistle, 2010). Secular thinking contradicts Christianity because it consists of a worldview that is limited to the earthly realm and is based on things that can be tangibly proven (Entwistle, 2010). Christian thinking, however, reaches beyond the physical,
The book is written from a Christian perspective, but it is not intended to be a theological treatise. Instead, the authors aim to provide a practical guide for Christians who want to integrate their faith into their work. The book is well-written and engaging and the authors definitely do a good job of explaining complex economic concepts in a way that is easy to understand. The book provides a helpful overview of the history of capitalism and its basic principles. The authors also offer practical advice on how to integrate Christian values into business practices and the book is somewhat one-sided in its defense of capitalism.
Prior to the 16th century all of Europe was Catholic. Because of the Protestant Reformation during the 16th, 17th, and 18th century, more religious minorities came about throughout Europe. This led to the French Wars of religion and to the topic of religious toleration, how much religious freedom the religious minorities should have. Some people had arguments and performed practices, both for and against religious toleration, some did it for personal gain and others for the concern of society.
Almost all Americans have heard the phrase “separation of church and state.” However, fewer realize the magnitude of the phrase. Contrary to some people’s beliefs, the majority of the Founding Fathers were deists or had a belief in a God who created the universe but does not interact with it. They understood how religion could ruin governments and needed to be separated in their new nation. The Founding Fathers purposefully left out religion from all government documents and never mentioned the Bible or other religious text while creating the United States.
William T Cavanaugh (2008), wrote Being Consumed: Economics and Christian Desire which is a philosophical book, which focus on four (4) economic life matters that addresses the consumer culture within society. These four economic life matters are free market, consumerism, globalization and economic scarcity. In order for this topic to be discussed on a theological point of view, the author draws the reader’s attention to human life, the ends of life in God. The key question in every process is whether or not the transaction contributes to the flourishing of each person involved. In order to address these questions the author points to concrete examples of alternative economic practices in which Christians participate-: business, co-operatives, credit union, practices of consumption which marks the vision for Christian economic life.
Benchmark - Gospel Essentials Everyone has a worldview, a set of beliefs on how you view your world, whether you are Christian, Atheist or Mormon, or none of these. Your worldview determines the basis on how you view your own reality; it is a lens by which you look at your world, and the moral values you have adopted. Your worldview determines what you believe about God, marriage, raising children, type of food you eat, politics, to name a few.
Our worldview is the lens that we make sense of life and should be intentional as we adopt a philosophy of life that is informed by something greater than ourselves as Christ should be our example, according to 1 Peter 2:21 “for [as a believer] you have been called for this purpose, since Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you may follow in His footsteps” (Amplified Version). For this reason, our moral compass when based on a biblical worldview should influence how we approach making decisions as it pertains to business ethics (Porter,2013). To what extent do your personal religious (or non-religious) beliefs about life impact your sense of business ethics and personal decision-making? Every decision that I reach
There are very many religions that exist in the world today. Religion plays such a major role in people’s everyday lives, and it’s not surprising why it is such a major focus in the way choices and decisions are made. Each of the world’s major religions has certain differences that set themselves apart from others and that make them unique. Most religions, however, all follow the same morals and guidelines that are quite similar to each other’s.
The Protestant Reformation of 1517 to 1648 caused the widespread tension of religious tolerance, in which some religions took a particular direction regarding their practices and arguments. While some leaders, intellectuals and radical reformers supported the idea of religious toleration due to their beliefs in its contribution to unity, which would prevent turmoil and unrest, rulers and nobles of great power and rank opposed religious toleration due to their fears of heretics and the treacherous effect they would have on the uniformity of their states. In document 5, King Henry of Francce addresses religious toleration in his Edict of Nantes, which was signed on April 30 of 1598. It granted Huguenots or French Calvinists, religious freedom.
There is also the factor that pressure to act unethically often comes from salespeople having to work both with their companies and customers, the goals of which do not always align. Salespeople might do something unethical to close a sale with a customer, but in the long run, that type of behavior will be detrimental to the salesperson’s career, reputation, and could hurt the
Adolescent population is a very vulnerable group for risk behavior and this time period can determine the lifestyle and health status of adulthood. Their health is strongly associated with behaviors learned within a socio-cultural context. Many studies revealed that behaviors linked to social learning can either increase or decrease the school-aged children’s risk for adverse health outcomes that may persist through adulthood. [100] An increased interest in the effects of religion on health is appeared in medical literature.
