INTRODUCTION Fast food industry is one of the biggest industries in Pakistan (Hague,2011) The demand for fast food is increasing day by day that is why many investors are coming to this field. Some reasons why people like to visit restaurant are rapid urbanization, increased female participation in the work force, increased exposure to different foods via the popular media, from workers and students returning from overseas and promotional activities of the local industry (Khan, 2011). Fast food industry has a huge position in Pakistan. Fast food items like burgers, pizzas, Shawarma’s are popular amongst our youth. Youngsters who are between the ages of 14 to 24 are the ones who get attracted towards fast food items (Chu, 2005).Fast foods are becoming very much popular in our youngsters too. A recent study found that 36% of advertisements during children’s programming were for fast food (Outlay and Taddese, 2006). They are attracted toward fast food spicy and new taste. More over the trend of dual income which means both of the parents are working in an organization and it has forced our youngsters to eat out side which means females are busy and they are not willing to cook at home, this also create the habit of fast food.
