Eric Schlosser's main argument in Fast Food Nation is that Fast Food chains play a big role all around the world. Sometimes, this is not a good thing. Fast Food companies are expanding and showing up in every country. With these restaurants, brings not only cheap food but pollution and fatty foods. Eric Schlosser gives many convincing arguments about the unfair treatment of employees, conditions of slaughterhouses, unhealthy food and just how much power these chains have. Through the main use of pathos he appeals to the readers emotions. He anecdotes or makes short stories to help you relate to the personal accounts that people have been through. He makes the reader shocked, scared, sad, etc. For example he explains his trip to the slaughterhouses
