Mt. Everest, more than twenty nine thousand feet above sea level, is Earth’s highest mountain. It is also the deadliest place on Earth. Then why do people want climb it so bad they even risk their own lives? Is it the excitement standing on top of the world? Or perhaps the feeling of achievement? Nevertheless, if I was given a chance to climb Mt. Everest, I wouldn’t do it because it is expensive, the view is not worth climbing, and I might risk putting my health and life in danger.
Similarities and differences, they’re everywhere. Whether you’re comparing your favorite sports team to someone else’s favorite sports team, or comparing how your muffin tasted today to how it tasted yesterday. One exercise that is important and sometimes fun to do is to compare stories. In this essay, we will be comparing two stories by the names of “The Voyage” and “To the Top of Everest”.
I have many goals, but I have three main goals. My goals are to graduate high school, go to a cosmetology college, and own a beauty salon.
I want to be in AP Literature and Composition because I think it will prepare me for college. I heard that students who take AP classes in high school graduate college at a much better rate than those who do not take AP courses in high school. This is probably because they are better prepared for the level of work they get in college. I want to be ready for college. So I thought just being in an AP will let know what to expect in my future college, if I go to one. I’m not entirely certain which college i 'm going to, if i’m going to one at all, but I definitely feel capable of doing so. I want to keep all of my opportunities open. I believe taking this class will perhaps make a college want to take my money over the next guy’s.
The one thing everyone wants. I have both educational and more sport related goals for my eighth grade year. I did share my first action plan for one of my made-to-be accomplishment. Another educational goal I want to accomplish is getting all As in work habits (for the third time in a row). All of them. For that, I only need to turn things in on time, do the work, and stay focused in class. Easy enough depending on who you are. For me it might be a little challenge but I got this in the bag. My future accomplishments will help the rest of the school year go a lot better because with my planning I should be able to get my work done and turn it in on time so that means that I will have better grades. It not the grades I’m worried about is making sure I meet my expectations. My expectations are very high for myself, not including the chores, hard working tasks my parents expect me to do. I know that these things will make me more successful because the two goals I have should help me stay focused and learn better. They also will help me with learning time management, responsibility, and prioritising. The goals will not only help me in eighth grade but also in my future life. In Social Studies we have been working on a HUGE project called “National History Day”. I can not wait to see the final project. I’m looking forward to this moment, when all the hard work is done and I see that all of my hard work has been pulled off! NHD (National History Day) is
What the American Dream means to me is happiness. Being happy and not having to worry about food, shelter, and/or health. To have a healthy life, family, and relationships whether it be friends or family. To me the American Dream is not having a big house, nice car, or expensive clothing because I believe no matter how much material you have it will never bring you true happiness. “The most important thing is to enjoy your life - to be happy - it’s all that matters.” (Audrey Hepburn)
A goal that I have this year for my writing is to get an A on all of my papers. That might be hard for me, but I like to set high expectations. Another goal is to have multiple people check through my paper and revise. Another goal of mine is to actually try my hardest. Some things I find myself not caring
In the book Into Thin Air, Jon Krakauer and the Everest climbers that descended the mountain were faced with a storm. As the storm continued, the climbers had to fight for their lives. The expedition’s guides did not enforced a turn away time. In the movie, one of the scenes is Rob Hall telling Doug Hansen to turn back. This is a key similarity and one of the most important elements. The South African group that wouldn’t let the Nepal team borrowed their radio was not mentioned in the movie. The conditions in the movie were fairly close to the conditions on Everest. The wind was harsh and the snow blinding the climbers. Climbers could only see a few feet in front of them.
Many mountain climbers risk their own lives and rescuers ' when they try to climb Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world. When something goes wrong during their climb, they demand rescue services to help them. Already, there are a large vast of people who have died in the process that perhaps 200 dead bodies still remain on the mountain. Although, 4,000 other people have successfully scaled the mountain which is a good amount. But, since helicopters are increasing because of the several people the rescuers have to save, more money are getting spent. Mountain climbers should not demand rescue services because it 's their fault they are in that place. They should not have gone up there in the first place.
And to have my eyes be scanners to memorize and save all of what you’re teaching.
Everybody’s story is different, and this was the case in the nonfiction resource, The Kid Who Climbed Everest. Bear Grylls’s story started off with a flashback on his previous parachute accident when he was in the Army. He broke his back and then went through three years of extensive therapy. Flash forward, and Bear is climbing Ama Dablam, another mountain in the Himalayas in order to train for the Mt. Everest climb. Eventually when he climbs Mt. Everest, he climbs up the South side of the mountain. It was 1999 and only two years after the Great Avalanches on Everest. These series of avalanches claimed 18 lives and seriously injured many others. Bear reached the summit of Mt. Everest on May 26, 1999 at 7:22 a.m. So as you can see, setting

I have always aimed high, whether it's with colleges or mountains, I have always wanted to challenge myself to a point of exhaustion - it's where I perform best. All of this
Explicit plans in the first step will become futile if we do not take action. Merely hoping for chances does not help us get good outcomes. Whoever just waits for chances to knock their door is unlikely to reach success; therefore, taking action as well as working hard is the key for us to catch more
