Blended learning is not just school, it is life (Moran). Traditional learning has always been the most preferred learning procedure. Although, online learning is gaining popularity these days however, blended learning is not becoming popular. Blended learning started to be used since the invention of the internet and the World Wide Web in the 1990s (Friesen 1). Blended learning is an extremely powerful tool to use (Friesen 1). There are multiple reasons why teachers should use blended learning which are that is has several models, provide parents, students and teachers with detailed student data and incorporates illustration by learners in self-regulation, independence and autonomy. First of all, blended learning programs have the ability to gather all the students’ data. As a consequence, teachers can easily know the weakness area of each individual student, and where he or she needs a little more aid and act accordingly (“Five Benefits of Blended Learning”). In addition, a test can be scored immediately. As a result, the teacher does not have to consume time and effort marking the tests. Other than that, students can instantly see their grades which are automatically accomplished on their gradebook. Last but not least, a teacher could effortlessly monitor a student’s computer to ensure liability. For instance, a teacher can easily check if the student is not playing on the computer, not accomplishing plagiarism using the internet and not cheating. Moreover, blended learning has more than three important models which are ‘Rotation,’ ‘Self-Blending’ and ‘Online Lab’ but these are the most pivotal ones. Also, blended learning collects all detailed data about students and this allows teachers to know where his or her students are excelling. It also allows tests to be marked automatically and to monitor students’ computers during a test.
