Saltwater fishing and freshwater fishing both have their own unique, and sometimes annoying qualities. Neither of them are really better than the other one that can be proven as such. Everyone has their own opinion over the “which is better” topic, and to just bluntly answer that question come, neither of them are better than the other (K, Jay n.p.).
The Northwest Coast’s main food source was salmon, thanks to the Pacific Ocean they had plentiful amounts of it. Fishing was usually done in the summer, and stored for the winter, but they were able to fish all year long. Although they did eat and catch other aquatic animals, including whales, salmon was the easiest to catch and the most convenient to store for long periods of time. The Pacific Ocean supplied the tribes with fish, crab, seaweed, whales, mussels, some sea mammals, and fish oil. The people had many methods of catching the fish, the most drastic one was by using harpoons. In order to do this, they had to stab the fish while in a canoe and put the fish in the storage section. This proved to be more useful when catching larger fish such as swordfish, or blue tuna. The most effective method of catching salmon was by using large nets shaped like a V to catch hundreds of fish at a time. This was very useful because one thousand fish could easily feed a family for a whole year. Another way fish were caught was by using traps, most commonly a weir was used. A weir is a structure built in the water typically out of either wooden poles or stone, and is used for catching the fish as they swim in the current. The fishers would use hooks made out of bone and wood to catch fish as well. This was very helpful because they were able to catch whatever size fish they would like. The bigger
Use heavier baits in windy and deep water, and use lighter lures in shallow and calm water.

In the world of bass fishing there are many baits that are used to catch bass, but the ones in this paper are just some common ones used. Carolina rig is a deep-water assembly that uses a heavy slip sinker, plastic bead, barrel swivel, 16-to 18-inch leader, hook, and soft-plastic
These two types are live bait, and artificial bait. There are pros and cons to each that I will talk about. First I will talk about artificial bait. I like using artificial bait for many reasons. One of the main reasons I like using artificial bait (lures) is the amount of water that you can cover. I believe that the more water you can cover the more fish you can catch. Lures are made to attract fish. Lures can be built to make noise, create reflections or just imitate the movements of a bass’s natural prey. There are also different types of lures. These are topwater, mid- depth and deep water lures. The other way to catch bass is with live bait. To catch bass with live bait you will need a 3/0 sized hook, and minnows, frogs, crawfish or worms you can by most of these at the store. You will also need one or two split shot weights and cork bobber. The weights will keep the bait in the water and the bobber will tell me when I get a bite. I like using live bait because it is exactly what the bass would eat in the

After a while of driving the boat looking for a spot to fish, we found a spot. The spot was perfect , and we were fishing in fifteen feet of water on a weed edge. Then, we put our rigs down. We were using Lindy rigs with a leech and started fishing. Then, my grandpa's drag started screaming -- he had a fish! He reeled in the fish, and it was a good fish that was around twenty inches. After we let the fish go, the fishing got good! We ended up catching around twenty more walleyes.

The first successes came from a small lake outside Stockholm called Bagarsjön. It was in this lake we first realized that the crucian carp was an extreme specialist. What we tried to do was to change it’s feeding habits. This resulted in a very intense feeding campaign that extended over three weeks. Every day at dusk someone in our club visited the swims to feed the fish. The results didn’t come immediately, early in the season the fishing was slow but after several weeks you actually could catch several crucian carps at one night. The next year we noticed that we didn’t have to use such a massive baiting campaign. The results came faster and after a week or so the fishing was at it’s peak. The improvement continued and we realised that we actually had changed it's feeding habits. As we started to fish for crucian carp
