Follow up interview
I have had the opportunity to present my recommendations to the HR representative I spoke to earlier. Following are the recommendations I presented:
• Develop a framework that would be used for managing work globally.
• Keep a constant bench marking about the market; benefit suitability should always be monitored to build an incentive structure.
• To ensure a beneficial financial model always monitor the quality of the delivered final product, keep a check on performance issues.
• To prevent any regulatory or compliance issues, form a steering committee to oversee governance issues (Jeff, 2011).
Advised on following lean culture then make sure the vendor follow the same. HR should always maintain an effective feedback loop. Always concentrate on what is the end goal that is yet to be accomplished, but do not get stuck on how it is accomplished, which can be overseen by other departments.
The new methodology being used in every IT organization is lean methodologies, where small iterations are planned out and continuous feedback loop is maintained to get client feedback or customer input (James, 2000).

The major problem the teams face right now is some teams are divided apart in two or three location. He advised me to share my findings and recommendations with the team that is experimenting with lean methodology. The last principle of lean thinking is perfection, this means continuous improvement, and focuses on value-added activities and eliminates waste.
