The Renaissance Festivals were important to the people because of the food, clothing, games, and arts. The clothes and fashion was an important part of the Renaissance life. This was extremely true for the wealthy people who displayed fashion for wealth and success. A wealthy person would have various clothing that was made from fine materials, furs, and silks. A peasants typical clothing would own only 1 or 2 outfits. First, was the men's fashion had a certain style that they wore during the Renaissance festivals. The men would wear colorful tights or stockings with a shirt and coat. The coat was be typically tight fitting for them. The men would generally wear a hat as well. Next, the women had a unique clothing fashion that they wore during the festivals. The women wore long dresses that often had high waistbands with puffy sleeves and shoulders. Only the wealthy women would wear the big jewelry that was made of gold and decorated with expensive jewels like pearls and sapphires (Ducksters). This artist made sculptors during the Renaissance that were monumental to life. Next, was the painting of the Last Judgement. This painting was done by the famous Michelangelo. He worked on the art by covering the altar wall of the Sistine Chapel. It was filled with an illustration of humanity in all forms. Lastly, the artist Leonard da Vinci made a self portrait during the era. If any male artist could paint himself, it would be him. He did a portrait of himself from 1452 through 1519. From the fifteenth century to the seventeenth centuries society experienced a shift from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. During this time Europe underwent many significant changes that were often expressed through the historical art. Passionate and experienced artists used their skills to create masterpieces that would highlighted these changes and led to the success of their careers. Later on in their life’s the men would wear shirts made out of either cotton or velvet, while during the warmer seasons they would wear breeches that went just below the knee. In colder seasons they would have pants. Women wore squaw dresses made out of blankets. Both men and women would wear moccasins whether child or adult. Every year they had special traditions.
During the middle ages, water pollution was bad, so citizens would only drink Ale and Wine, based on their social status. Food was mostly bought at fairs, and from small markets. People in this period also ate convenience foods, or something along the line of a snack. The poor ate mostly bread and cheese, as their convenience food, while the rich ate pastries and cakes.
Food was eaten. , cooked, and even preserved depending on their class. There's a massive difference between how they ate during the Renaissance then how we eat today. Renaissance food, like the era, was elegant and cultured.

When the wool trade started, it gave the face of agriculture and the land enclosures a whole new look because the number of people in poverty increased rapidly. Social class has a significant role in the Renaissance and almost every aspect of life. The food in England was every hard to come across when you was poor or had low income because it depended on the social classes.
Michelangelo had a gigantic influence on the renaissance. He was a master at both painting and sculpting, he also was an architect, engineer, and poet. During his day he was unbeatable in his painting and sculpting skills. He had many artist study under him and help him with painting the Sistine Chapel in Vatican, but none were on par with him.
Eating During the Renaissance Era Food of the Renaissance was not distributed equally; the wealthy indulged in many feasts, serving a variety of dishes. However, the people who were not wealthy or noblemen did not get the same level of nutrition or enjoy the same foods. Being wealthy has always had some sort of benefits no matter what time period it was. During the renaissance however, the wealthy are better than anyone else.
