Science, I love this particular word from my childhood. I prefer Science as the study of change; change for the betterment of life. Scientific modification over time by scientists all around the world fascinated me always. My undergraduate period in the field of food science and technology assisted me to extrapolate the inner beauty of this field. As a student of food science and technology, I feel the responsibility to devote myself in resolving food security and food safety issues. I believe that to solve these problems and to improve our lives, we all need to work together. One day in my third-year at university, while reading articles about health and nutritional aspects of processed food, something came up in my mind about my father 's death due to liver cancer. Therefore, the benefits of functional food to overcome health-related issues made me more thoughtful. Since then, I concentrated more on this area. Being a persevering student, my lab experience was quite well-founded. I secured above 75% marks on an average in all of my practical courses. During the last semester, I have worked in different food industries in our country as a part of my industrial placement program. Those experiences helped to develop my ability to handle responsibility and work under pressure. Another internship program at the “Universiti Malaysia Terengganu”, played the vital role to trigger my interest to pursue my career as a researcher. Research work that I accomplished there was "Development of Keropok Lekor focus on Bangladeshi Spices". At the early stage of my research work, I had very little idea about research. Therefore, to enrich my research background, I went through several books, articles, and research papers. With my firm dedication and hard work and as a quick learner, I successfully surmount the obstacles.
