The work is getting bigger and bigger now as I had taken the position as director in one of the most influential company in the world, Forte Corporation. At the beginning, I was just like many fresh graduated students, naïve and excited to encounter many challenges in the notorious world of workaholic. I was fortunate to have a great result in my result and because of that reason, without any signals of fear and anxious, I applied in Forte’s as an assistant manager. Days and days, I kept on praying and meditating with my fullest heart for my success in applying the job. My mind was like in haze, I could not see anything clearly in front of me and my heart was palpitated strongly which like it would jump out from my body. The condition is getting …show more content…

I am now working at the Forte as an assistant manager to Miss Raihan. Standing at the height 5’4 inch, with her petite body and always accompanied by her 5 inch favourite Gucci’s shoes, she is one of the most strict person that I have ever met in my life. Once, I heard from my co-workers that her temper is like a flying rocket. She will project her voice out form her petite body and slammed all those nails of words to the victims until they shed tears or at the worst case, faint. “Safiya, I need you to take this file and sent it to Mr. Haris at HR, okay?’, Miss Raihan said while looking at her laptop. ‘Safiya, are you listening to me? You are not deaf, aren’t you?’, The look she gave to me as if I was the next cupcake that she will eat for her next tea break. Her eyes was like stern and focus at my figure that I know what is destined for me, I was her meal for her tea-break! ‘I can hear you, Miss Raihan. I will send it to Mr. Hariz immediately at HR.’ exclaimed me as I was trying to hide my red face with files on my

Massachusetts, 1692... what an awful time to be alive. Especially for a young, timid girl by the name of Clarabeth. Not exactly the most special of girls, just a hard worker for her family, an all around fair person. Unfortunately, Clarabeth woke from an unpleasant sleep with a start on a gloomy August twilight, to the sound of people shouting and an accused “witch” tied to a stake, crying with the force of a tidal wave, pleading to be let down.
BLOG, I can 't imagine those days about to come of sheer agitation during college. I 'm feeling pretty overwhelmed, right now. Yes, yes, I 've started my internship at Macy 's, although I still haven 't done much and that is because the person with whom I am going to work with is on vacations until this upcoming Thursday. So, I 'm giving the best input that I 've able to put into this job.
It was about midnight, Tango was pushing his limits, galloping full speed. We’d been at this for about a hour. My muscles ached from repetitively slamming against the warm saddle, my posture was slipping, hell, I could barely keep my heels down anymore. I cursed under my breath when we came up to a fence, but luckily, I knew this city like the back of my hand. I took a sharp left and Tango sped up.
Sarah White, 20 years old, a promising biology major, was dying. "I am sorry to break the news to you, but I think you need to know this. Sarah," Dr. Park finally declared, "you have less than a week to live." Sarah's frail heart sank to her diaphragm upon hearing Dr. Park's execution order. Sarah was expecting to hear it since a month ago.
One part that stood out to me when reading the book, was the scene between Lennie and Curley’s wife in the barn. This scene was when I realized that she was one of my favorite characters in the book. It was nice to hear her talk about how she had a great fantasy of being a movie actress, but this was thwarted by a bad talent agent, and her mother. Like other men on the ranch, Curley’s wife suffers from lack of love and attention, and also from having her dreams sacrificed for Curley. You understand then, that she has reasoning for her wandering around the ranch, looking for someone to talk to.
Noah 's POV I walked into my house to see Lauren and Sharna curled up on the couch. They both had tear stains on their cheeks. It broke my heart knowing that they were broken because of me. I kissed Lauren 's head, set the papers on the table, and went to bed.
Said the young bellhop in a quick mumble that sounded like another language to Edna Green. “What?” She said with a slightly posh accent. “May I take your bags?” The bellhop repeated with a hint of impatience in his voice.
In A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams, Stella Kowalski’s sister Blanche came to visit her in Elysian Fields and she found a man in who caught her attention. The central idea of the passage was Blanche’s overwhelming love and feelings towards Mitch, the man whom she just met in New Orleans. The author’s use of dialogue between Stella and Blanche in Scene Five of the play emphasized the love that Blanche had for Mitch and the moral support in which she received from Stella. Blanche had significant feelings for Mitch and she was discussing them with Stella when they were trapped inside of her head. In the dialogue the author includes between the two characters, Blanche says “I don't know why I screamed!
“Mai Thi stared at it all. “Thit bo kho?” she asked. “It will be by the time we’re done,” said Mrs. Bigio. “The curry and gingerroot are in the front pocket there.

Today me and Slim walked to the bunkhouse together, just chattin’ about the little pup that Slim gave to Lennie, which is moreover a kind gesture of him, since we both know that it means a lot to Lennie. Now the big guy’s got something to pet. I hope this keeps him damn busy, so he won’t do anything stupid which will get us in trouble. Slim commented on the power of Lennie, when he’s buckin’ barley, saying that he almost killed his partner. I felt proud at that moment, and as proud as I am I told him that Lennie can do anything if it doesn’t require much thinking.
