The twelve Dimensions give us the ability to accurately analyze, and map out the human terrain around us from a cultural perspective, so that I can make more intelligent decisions about the intercultural complexities that I face every day. I learn what to listen for and how to integrate it into my reasoning, decision-making, and the words I use when you interact with others. According to Edward T. Hall, one of the founding fathers of intercultural communication studies, said: Culture hides much more than it reveals, and strangely enough what it hides, it hides most effectively from its own participants. Also this mean how do we plan, and what is at the center of our significances when it comes to planning for time or people? One of the most problematic things to learn is that, if we live in an environment where both time oriented planning and people planning are living; we have to be prepared for both. A time oriented focus on possess appointments strictly and find interruptions and delays frustrating and relationships are subordinate to plans and primary plans. Coworkers for whom business formality requires not talking about personal matters can consider these coworkers to be unprofessional. The solution to these situations is to advance an understanding of formal and informal culture within our association that leads to successfully navigating the intercultural difficulties involved.
Directed destiny and directive destiny can make a big difference in leadership and organizational development. If I come from a directive destiny environment, I would typically say that I allowed to try, allowed to be myself, and can do things that give me a sense of freedom. However, if I come from a directed destiny environment, I would typically say that it brings stability, makes me feel safe, that it creates clarity about the future that I know exactly what I can and cannot
