Famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright was born on June 8, 1867, in Richland center, Wisconsin. His mother was Anna Lloyd Jones and she was a teacher from a large Welsh family who settled in Spring Green, Montana where Wright built one of his famous homes a while later. His father’s name was William Carey Wright was a preacher and Musician. When Frank Lloyd was 12 years old his family moved to Madison, Wisconsin.
