If you want to have a good relationship and become more courges read the book the Fright the Mighty. To begin in Freak the Mighty two boys named Kevin also known as Freak and Max.They both have some type of disability. Freak has a disability that makes him small, and Max has a learning disability. Because Max is not the brightest but very tall, and Freak is as smart as Einstein. Wherever the two go, Freak is always on Max shoulder making them taller than nine foot. They bring their powers together and create Freak the Mighty. The theme stated in Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick is everyone needs a loyal friend and at some point in your life you have to show a little courage. To begin everyone needs to show a little courage in their life. One of the themes Rodman Philbrick is showing in my opinion is everyone needs to show a little courage in their life. Weather that be a friendship or a dating status.One page one hundred thirty two when Max grabs Freak and runs away from killer kane.Max could have left to save himself but instead Max grabs Freak and saves both of them. Another example of where loyalty is key in a relationship is on page one hundred twenty six when Loretta puts her life in danger and helps save Max. She could have left Max for Kane to take him away of his family,but instead Loretta shows loyalty and helps Max escape from killer Kane. Why theys two examples matter so much is both of the character could have easily left and saved himself and but they stayed and show a lot of loyalty helping the two characters escape.This is the last example of the theme in Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick.
