Freedom Freedom severely impacted the lives of the American people. A world without freedom is like a world without laws, many should say. The majority of Americans hypothesize that freedom is a right that natural-born citizens have. In reality, freedom is something that we have received, and is not to be believed that it should exist. When Americans were granted freedom, slavery was abolished and slaves were able to live their lives and do whatever they desire. When I think of freedom, I will obviously reflect upon the ten amendments that were embraced in the bill of rights. The first amendment granted us a whole list of freedoms. To be specific, the ones that impacted most of us is the freedom of religion, speech, and the press. These
The United States of America is, and continues to be, associated in many people’s minds with freedom. A handful of individuals between 1400-1800 CE can be held accountable for this conceptualization of American Freedom. Some men such as Samuel Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson aided or attempted to aid the African slaves imported to the British colonies during the 18th century in there fight for freedom. Meanwhile a large portion of the white population in the colonies was being denied basic civil liberties and omitting John and Abigail Adams no one seemed to care. One man in this time appears to have no concern for the freedoms of any group of people, including his subjects.

Some people live in a communist country or a country where freedom do not exist and everything is controlled by the government. With many rules and regulations proposed by the government, people feel that it takes away from their freedoms. Introduction The U.S.S. Liberty, a Navy research ship, was attacked on June 8, 1967, during the “Six Day War”. Although unknown at the time, the U.S. would later find out that Israeli fighter jets and torpedo boats had attacked the ship. The ship was located in international waters 13 miles from the coast of Al Arish, Egypt. In all, 34 crewmembers aboard the Liberty were killed, along with 171 members being wounded.

As all the amendments, the first amendment is intended for use in situations with the government. The first amendment was written by James Madison and was sent to the states to be ratified on September 25, 1789 along with the twelve proposals for the bill of rights.. Freedom is a concept that can be defined by many things, from the freedom we earned from the American revolution to pure independence at its core. We need our independence, and in the novel Brave New World, there is no such thing as individual freedom. Freedom has been sacrificed for stability through manipulation, and genetic modification. Controlled by a single world governing body, this society is manipulated and regulated constantly through selective breeding. From birth, humans are scientifically altered to fit their destined path according to their social class.
