America is said to be the land of the free, and for the most part this is true, but it will truly become a free country for everyone when the truth is out in the open for the people to see and most importantly for them to be educated. The only path for a balanced civilization is to maintain high standards of values and knowing the simple fact that an educated world brings with it educated ideas and mindsets. Remember that
Anyone could say that if Montag had conformed he would have stayed on the side of “good;” however, there is no true “good” side there is uniqueness and being individuality which is considered to be “good” to most people in the society in which people live. Conformity and individuality in this book were hard to see due to the fact that Montag’s society wanted everything to be perfect in a world that was not. One should always be themselves even if society tells them to be something different. Be a unique individual not something, or someone, someone else wants you to
To me, the american dream is to be freedom and have freedom of speech. Freedom and freedom of speech are what many americans want. Having freedom means that you have the right to say what you want as long as it’s not illegal, and it gives americans the right to say what they want even if it offends another person. The following text show evidence of the american dream: “Home” by Dierks Bentley, “Coming to America” by Neil Diamonds.
“The land of the free and the home of the brave” (Morley, 2013). Americans always talk about how lucky they are to be living in a free country, but how free are they actually are? They would always talk about the first amendment and how it is so great because they would hate it if their given freedom was taken away from them, but how much freedom do the people who fit under non-white ethnicities actually get? The first amendment would never divide people’s freedom by their races. Determining who someone is just by the color of their skin or the way they dress is nothing less than ignorant.
Liberty is the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's way of life, behavior, or political views. Liberty, America has given my generation is to keep away from sins and spiritual servitude. Liberty is another gift America has given my generation. Non violence is another gift America has given my generation. Non violence is another gift America has given my generation because that is the reason many of us still live today.
In America we have a lot of freedoms. I think that us Americans don't realize how lucky we are to have the things we have and i think we need to be more aware of that. We are free to do most things we want, and we each need to be thankful for our lives as Americans. Also we need to be unique in our own ways. We all need to be leaders and not followers.
Crispin was born into the peasant and the serf class so he had basically no human rights. Now today everyone would be really upset because everyone deserves basic human rights and freedom, but back then it was not odd to not have certain freedoms. In fact, it was probably more odd if you were a peasant or serf with freedoms because that simply just didn’t happen. That was definitely the case in
People are automatically classified as soon as he is born into this world. Our race is a thing that is supposed to connect us to our history. We are stuck with it, and not by choice; which reminds me that the article, "Black Like I Thought I Was. "
We have freedom of speech because of the first amendment. America is a land of opportunity where the government takes care of it’s people and gives children and teenagers free education . America has made it to where not only men have rights but men and women both have the same rights . America let’s anyone be who they want unlike in china if there people don’t agree
Cassius Clay, or more popularly known “Muhammad Ali”, was a very
Ricky kurihara Veterans day What does freedom mean to you? For me it means being able to live my life without being attacked. Veterans are very brave people that fought for our flag and our freedom. Freedom means being free and being able to do certain things like going to the store to get things that I want and being able to do things outside without a big war.
The first time I ever experienced freedom was when I came to America. Sometimes freedom ain 't really for all, you still have to follow all rules, and obey your parents. The word *Freedom* means to me is that you may have the right to do what you think is right, and you don’t really have to be one of those people out there that have no right. Even if you don’t have any right you can always dream, and experienced from the people around you, and your friends. When people always tell me what’s right, or wrong, that annoys me.
America is another name for opportunity that resides in the destiny of the people. There is nothing more competitive than the daily life of an American. Everyone has the chance to achieve their own desires and hope is what keeps them going. America thrives on commitment and that is what sets the goods and the greats apart. Anyone can work hard but there is nothing special about working hard because that is what is supposed to happen.
Free range parenting is the best and most effective way to raise children in the current society. Free range parenting allows for children to discover the world around them. This method allows for children to become more independent and self confident without the constant supervision of parents. Giving the necessary freedom to the children makes them become stronger individuals as they grow up. Free range parenting does not translate to “hands off’ parenting or abusive/neglecting parents.
From the start of human existence people were destined to be different whether it be by race, gender or color. However history has shown that this uniqueness has lead to the judgement of these attributes not their celebration. The law should not agree with this, but sadly it does. Human race has not yet gotten past this hump of legality, but they must in order to keep living in peace. Society as a whole should not feel the discrimination that they do, but rather the commemorator of them.
