In order to achieve a predetermined learning, teachers need to be smart in implementing the PDP in the classroom. The teachers have to design a variety of teaching and learning activities based on cultural differences of students. For example, teachers can merge students from various ethnic groups for group activities and this action can encourage the sharing of ideas and opinions as well as to recognize each other 's culture more closely. A classroom should be filled with a wide variety of languages, experiences, and cultural diversity. An effective teacher understands the importance of culturally responsive teaching, and recognizes the significance of including students ' cultural references in all aspects of learning. Having an enriching classroom that engages all students does not mean making judgments about a student’s culture based on their skin color, gender, or socioeconomic status, rather it means knowing each student in a way that is individualized. According to the authors of The First Day of School: How to be an Effective Teacher Harry Wong, race, gender, religion, financial statue, and skin color is the least important factor determining a student’s achievement. Moreover, demographics and culture are not an excuse for students’ lack of achievement.
As a future teacher, I will strive to resemble culturally responsive teaching by seeking to understand the student's perspective further. Understanding the student’s perspective will create an educational environment that represents all people, honor individual diversity, and affirm unity among all members if the educational community (8a.0). As I begin to learn about ethnic, cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic groups through different learning experiences, I realize how to pursue positive interactions with students of other backgrounds (8a.1). With this knowledge, I can analyze and adjust the curriculum to meet all groups of diversity in the classroom (8a.2).
This is where the child should learn to have respect for themselves and others, develop the skills socially meaning to interact with the other children and learn their different emotions and how to deal with this which is the emotional part. A child will learn to develop their own personality and opinions but this also needs to be monitored to ensure there is no bullying towards the other children, also parents have major roles in teaching their children. Some parents however, can be over-protective and can delay the child’s development and learning but on an alternative, parents can also see no wrong with their child which can lead to too much confidence and higher risk of behaviour problems. The children in a school are valued, with an environment that fully encourages and celebrates their learning and progression and how they are developing. The provision of a safe and secure learning environment for all its pupils should be provided through recognizing the importance of welcoming diversity and equal opportunities. The atmosphere within a school should be positive, with this being reflected in the attitudes of the staff and pupils, all caring for and taking pride in their surroundings and in how the learning journey of each pupil takes
Emotions are what propel you forward to reach your goal, but what also stop you from breaking your limits. They are what weigh into our decisions and help lead us to the choices we forever live with. Not only can they determine what we do, but also when and how we do it. At times they are stronger than others, pulling us forward or throwing us back as if we have absolutely no control. Just like in Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, the entire lives of two teenagers led by the emotions that they couldn’t ignore.

Emotional learning is being able to keep your emotions in line; knowing when a certain emotion is called for and when it is best to keep it to yourself. It is important that children learn this skill so that they can become functioning citizens. When they are able to control their emotions and also know how to act in social situations they are able to do things like conflict resolution. Social and Emotional learning are the building blocks on which our society is built. Erik Erikson was one of the first to look further into the social and emotional influence on how we grow and mature as humans and he came up with the psychosocial stages of development.
