Rosacea is known to be a poorly understood chronic dermatitis (inflammation of the skin) characterized by redness, flushing, pustules, and papules that normally occurs on the facial skin. This condition can be easily mistaken for eczema, or acne due to its texture and appearance in some cases. According to the American academy of Dermatology, the United States Government says an estimated amount of at least 14 million Americans are affected by Rosacea, and a vast majority of these individuals are not aware they have it. It is found to be more common in those with highly sensitive skin with a Fitzpatrick skin type
