In western Australia, May 1915 there was WW1. Archie Hamilton (Mark Lee) is a young man who loves to run and sprint. He was trained by his uncle Jack (Bill Kerr). Archie has a mate and his name is frank. Archie wants to join the war. Sacrificing your life for war is a terrible thing to do but for some people all they want to do is serve for their country. No one wants to go to war and think that they will die. It might be some peoples passion but for others its not. Mateship is shown a lot throughout the film and so is sacrificing your life for others. The great adventure of Archie and Frank. In the opening scene of the movie we see Archie performing his pre race routine. The then proceeds to perform his 10 yard sprint in less than 10 seconds that is record time. Running is Archie’s passion and that’s what he loves to do. Archie and frank was good mates. They were together most of the time until the boarded different ships. Soon after that they found each other and Archie risked his life by letting frank be a messenger. This shows mateship how Archie risked his life for frank. Mateship is a big thing in life. Everyone has a mate. Sometimes mateship drives people to stuff they wouldn’t normally do and take them out of their comfort zone. Everyone is in the same boat is you so your not alone. In WW1 you definitely weren’t alone. There were so many other people around you and everyone all helped each other out. Mateship is basically friendship. This film shows the adventures and friendship of Archie and frank through the war. They go off on different ships but are still able to meet back up later

Well, that’s what many people have been told before. People such as troops fighting for independence from England. They were told to fight for their independence, which they did want, but they leave out all the many disadvantages that come with fighting.
