First I will describe his life and where he started. Then I will go onto how he got into what he does today. And last I will describe where he actually is today. In 2006, he finally released an idle album called "Trap House" which contained the song "Icy", his very successful duet with another famous rapper, Young Jeezy. In May of 2005, his locally played debut single, "Black Tee", got him a huge contract with Big Cat Records. Even though they had slot of success with the song, Young Jeezy didn 't follow up their collaboration, and they got into arguments with another duet, because they didn 't want to give up the rights to it. This eventually caused the rappers to split apart.

Brooks inspired other musicians and producers from the rock world to integrate into country music. Bands such as AC/DC, Def Leppard and the Cars all made the transition over. In the following years, an abundant amount of rock musicians, such as Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, Darius Rucker, and Robert Plant have tested the water, even changed their identify to country artists (Ears). However, the shift from rock to country was not the only change in the music industry. Mainstream country artists have even began to incorporate hip-hop and rap into their music (Ears). These opportunities were made possible because Garth Brooks was not afraid to try something new, to be a new movement. Brook’s public affirmation of rock music immensely provoked the turning point of the biggest selling country artist of all time.

In a new interview, pop singer Nicki Minaj slammed Kanye West over his "Gold Digger" song due to something that discriminates different races. In other words, she doesn't take it lightly when it comes to the relationship of black men and women for good. She thinks that this is some sort of a discrimination for the black race when it comes to having relationships with each other. The title of the most ‘Disorganized, Sporadically Planned, Disaster of an Event of the 2016-2017 School Year,’ must sadly be granted the 2016-17 National Honor Society Induction Ceremony. As a brand new National Honor Society Inductee, I was honored with the chance to attend this prestigious event and found myself leaving dissatisfied and disillusioned. The National Honor Society is a well-respected and important organization in the academic community, one that students work hard to achieve enrollment in and colleges view with respect and admiration. The Induction Ceremony is meant to honor these students dedication and scholastic work ethic and pay homage to the Honor students that have come before us. I had much been looking forward the event as a way to show my family how much effort I have poured into my highschool career. I wanted them to be proud of me.

The music industry is an entertainment business and with almost any entertainment business there is some sort of corruption either known to the public or at times hidden. Across the world, George was the most popular contermapy singer. George started as someone of little importance but came to fame overnight. His biggest influences were Lefty Frizzell, Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, and George Jones. “You know, legends are people like Haggard and Jones and Wills and Sinatra. Those people are legends. I'm just a young buck out here trying to keep in that same circle with the rest of 'em” (George Strait). George Strait was different from other country music artists. Wherever he was, he stood out. He stayed true to the traditional and contemporary country sound while mixing in his own style of music. His music had a blend of western swing and honky tonk. For instance, “All My Exes Live in Texas” is a fun country song with a little zing. This song captures the true 80s country music. It is a mix of line dance and honky tonk.“Check Yes or No” is also another great contemporary song with a blend of western swing. George does not originally write his songs but he has some of the best songwriters. Some of the his best songwriters are Dean Dillon, Bryon Hill, and Steve Bogard. George Strait said, “ I just haven't been a very motivated songwriter, I'm just lazy about it. There's so many good songwriters out there … If I put my mind to it, I know I could write.
