Today, gender inequality is still occurring worldwide despite many steps to overcome gender equality. Oxford dictionary defined the gender inequality is a social process which women and men are treated differently and disadvantageously, under similar circumstances. According to (ILO, 2000), equality between gender, encompasses the concept that all human being is free to expand their personal abilities and make unlimited choices set by stereotypes, rigid gender roles and prejudices. Even though women get a higher education, they still cannot overcome this issue. Education is very important for an individual to apply for any jobs. However, while a higher education can lead to better income, but it is useless against gender gaps. In this era, people will see how educated the person are. Someone with higher knowledge will be more useful for organization or company. However, there are limitations for women when working although they have a higher education. Women face the biggest barriers when they are promoted from the role of admission to the role of management. Women in entry-level positions are 18% less than their male peers to be promoted to next step. In this 21st century, gender inequality is still prevalent and women status is remaining the same. One of the reason is that job opportunity is limited to women in the certain sector. This is because capabilities and abilities for women to accomplish the jobs. Besides, there also bias occurs in the organization which limits the women to a certain position. Even if women have polished themselves by improving their skills either soft skills, specific skills or communication skills, they still cannot get through this problem because of the limitation and will still be labeled as weak. This issue, it tends to be some social problems that male-dominated working area though women also beneficial to the certain sector.
