It is significant to identify the differences because it will help the program managers and policy makers to understand why these differences occur and propose policies and programs accordingly. As the parents are the first people in the life of the child, the child has a lot of expectations of learning and guidance from the parents. When the child starts getting through the sexual development phases, the child starts observing the parents very critically. Before being exposed to the society, the child makes the parents the source of the primary information. If the child is being raised up by same gender parents, the sexual orientation and behavior of the child would be different as compared to the child who is being raised by the parents of different gender. The genital body parts of the individuals grow with time. The existence and growth of the genital body parts is acknowledged before the birth of the child and it keeps on growing during the development stages of the child. During this development stage, the child goes through series of changes which not only affects the physical body conditions but also affects the child’s mental state. This makes the child understand the difference between the genders and get particular the gender that is being possessed by the individual.
