The Beatles were a British rock and roll group in the 1960's they have been called the most influential rock group ever. The members of the band were John Lennon on rhythm guitar, Paul McCartney on bass, George Harrison on lead guitar and Ringo Starr on drums. The Beatles formed in Liverpool, England in the early 1960's. After an impressive decade The Beatles broke up and they all found success in their solo careers. The Beatles break up was part of many problems but the main problem was that they were no longer enjoying being The Beatles.
I’m going to be writing my paper on a song called “Crooked Smile” by J.Cole, J.cole or Jermaine Cole, was originally born in Germany. When he was 8 months old he and his mother moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina. He attended St. Johns University and graduated with great distinction, he got introduced to music when he was 12 by a family member and ever since then he has been infatuated with rap music and the art of storytelling through music. I feel as though the thesis of this song is simply this, why feel the need to impress someone who doesn’t care about you or why let your insecurities stop you from being great? I also sense that there is an underlying meaning inside the song that promotes not catering to the conformity of society, such as you don’t need a “perfect” body and an amazing face just to be a star to yourself.
It certainly is not often you hear of a top-ten musical artist still living in their parent's basement, but it seems Jon Bellion exactly the type of person who would do just that. Jon Bellion, a 27-year-old singer and songwriter, is a recently popular artist with an extremely unique sound- a blend of genres and styles not yet explored. Bellion grew up on Long Island, New York, and still lives and produces music in his parents' basement (Dybec). Bellion was a college drop-out, who quit in order to pursue his music career full time; yet, while general music production is a monumental part of his life, it is not his end goal. It has been his aspiration for many years to produce the score for a Pixar film (Ciccone).

Bruce Dawe was the only one in his family to have gone to secondary school, however he stopped attending school when he was 16 years old.
