"Why Baby Why” was one of George Jones greatest hits in his huge and testing country music career. Even though George Jones had many struggles in his childhood and career, he still managed to inspire many people by proving tragedies can’t ruin futures. George Jones had a very tough childhood and most of it had to do with his parents. Jones's father was very abusive, and his father got drunk consistently; Jones would have to perform for him in the middle of the night. When the Jones family bought a radio, George got even more fascinated with music. Jones’s parents saw the talent and natural gift in music so around the age of seven they sent him to perform on the streets for money to help support his family (Freeland, 2006). George Jones’s career escalated after a very successful start. A manager/recorder named Harold found Jones in 1954 and helped him make it in the music business after being in the Marines for a short period of time. Shortly after Jones and Tammy Wynette got married in 1969, they met Billy Sherrill, a producer, where they …show more content…

Jones worked very hard and Frank Sinatra noticed his hard work and dedication so he awarded him “the second best male singer in America.” When Jones sings it is full of emotion and shows all the effort and time he puts into his music. Jones learned how to balance his career with all the success he made through his career. In the 1990’s George stirred up critics when he returned to his rustic country songs filled with heartache and honestly after a short time of straying away from them.Even though Jones never had a stage name he earned the nickname “No show Jones” since he didn’t show up to most of his concerts and performances (Freeland,

Her music greatly influenced the Memphis sound and transformed Southern Soul music forever.
“You know, traditional country music is something that’s going to be around forever.” George Strait (Jackson, “Country Music Quotes”). While Hunter Hayes’ style isn’t exactly traditional country, he has similar qualities to Roy Acuff- the most popular hillbilly singer of the swing era (Starr & Waterman, American Popular Music pg. 140). Hunter Hayes song “Wanted” is similar to the country music in the Swing Era in chapter six of American Popular Music. Hayes and Acuff are alike by how they both were crossover artists, neither were afraid to try something new with their music, and they both could play a wide variety of instruments.

Although he had experience standing on stage and performing in front of crowds of maybe fifty people in college, Brooks had no idea what would come when he dropped his first single, “Much Too Young (to Feel this Damn Old),” in 1989. By 1990, Garth was bigger than imagination! His single, “The Dance,” received best song and best video from ACM and CMA, and his very first award in 1990 was the President Horizon Award from CMA. The biggest accomplishment was winning not only one but two Entertainer of the Year for the CMA and ACM Awards. This has never been done in the history of country music until now.
Those people are legends. I'm just a young buck out here trying to keep in that same circle with the rest of 'em” (George Strait). George Strait was different from other country music artists. Wherever he was, he stood out. He stayed true to the traditional and contemporary country sound while mixing in his own style of music.
Do you know who the “Peanut man” is? Possibly not because that is a nickname to refer to a great African-American scientist, George Washington Carver, who by far is the most influential black scientist, inventor, and botanist. First of all, George Washington Carver pioneered over a 300 uses for peanut and sweet potatoes. Secondly, George also used his knowledge to help many poor farmers in the south and the agricultural industry. Finally, George made speeches to the new Peanut Growers Association of America, which essentially protected American agricultural economy and gave him a multitude of achievements.
John Adams one of seven founding fathers helped not only develop, but build what is now the United States of America. They all had a big part in making America, but John Adams might have had the biggest role. He had an easy life growing up, and was born into a farming family that had wealth, and had a name for themselves in their town. It might have been easy growing up but tougher task awaited him in the future and it wasn't going to be easy. I will be talking about John Adams life from being a 20-year-old Harvard graduate to being the President of the United States of America and probably have one of the French deaths that a president could ever have.

While in grade school Jones had a very bad studering issue but this all changed after he was asked to prove that he wrote by reciting it allowed in-front of class “And I did it without stuttering. So he [the teacher] used that as a program to get me to talk(Jones).". This began his desire to speak in front of others. Years later after graduating from Michigan with a bachelor’s in drama (1953) and serving in the military for a few years Jones made his Broadway debut in the late 1950s in the play Sunrise at Campobello(Notablebiographes).
He has always been faithful to this traditional country music sound, regarded as having led country music as a whole out of the heavily pop infused sound it had and back to the roots of the genre. George’s authenic sound is due in part to the fact he is not a singer pretending to be a cowboy, he is a real life, down to earth cowboy. He was born and raised in Texas, home of the real cowboy, and a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. He is not singing about a life he has only read or heard about but one he has actually lived and continues to live.
George Strait Introduction “I want to reach the point where people hear my name and immediately think of real country music (“George Strait Quotes,” 2018).” George Strait made this happen too, with hard work and persistence. Being turned down by multiple record companies was very hard on Strait. He kept working though, and it paid off.
