Why was George Washington significance? A great man called George Washington once said “We should not look back unless it is to derive useful lessons from past errors, and for the purpose of profiting by dearly bought experience.” George Washington was significance because he was a great leader. Also he helps win the revolution and he helps make peace with Britain. George Washington was a great leader. “He respected all his men and listen to their ideas one by one.” This makes happy his men to be treated with respect to be listening. They feel like humans. Doing this make people want to work that help run well the United States. Thanks to that George was a respected man. As the golden rule says treated others the way you want to be treat.
