The next act of order was to choose a leader. The History website claims that John Adams had a contribution of making George Washington become the first president of the United States. In addition, John Adams was voted into office as the first vice president. John Adams had a very big impact on America and his legacy still affects the United States today. He has moved many people through writing and speech.
The first president of our country was George Washington, and although he was an impeccable leader, not the best when set side to Abraham Lincoln. Few individuals might say Washington was the best because he had originated the Citizen President. " He showed his tremendous leadership skills on the field of battle," (Weston 4), and also served in the French and Indian war, however he still does not compare to Lincoln.
Richard Howe could be considered the most successful general, when compared to William Howe and George Washington. The bases of this argument are mainly; the military experience of each general and the number of recorded mistakes made by each general during their military expeditions. One of the main reasons, Richard Howe was the most successful general was because of his vast experience in military leadership or command. In hindsight Richard Howe had far more experience of being a military leader than William and Washington as he was enlisted in the Royal Navy in 1739 and then became Admiral, the rank of the highest naval officers, in 1775. He was also serving as commander in chief, “the officer holding supreme command of the forces in an area or operation”, of a Mediterranean fleet.
Ambrose notes that while President Washington is often credited with be being a successful general, his army lost more battles than they won (Ambrose 9). Despite this and the fact that President Washington was not as educated as President Jefferson, he was true leader. There is no better example than President Washington and his men crossing the Delaware River in 1776 or overcoming freezing, harsh conditions the next winter at Valley Forge, winning the Revolutionary War (Ambrose 10). Despite the adverse climate conditions, President Washington was able to motivate and lead an army of under supplied, minimally trained men to victory against the powerful British army. The prize:
George Washington contributed the most to the United States Of America because he was the first president and he set many of precedents for the future presidents of the USA. Also he has passed many important documents like the proclamation of neutrality and the whiskey rebellion proclamation. Some of his exceedingly important domestic affairs were the whiskey rebellion and what he did to combat that was he sent in the militia. Then there was a sizable protest/riot and he wrote the whiskey rebellion proclamation, which was his justification for calling in the militia, and furthermore his proclamation stated for all the citizens to return to their peaceful abode
He was one of the better presidents in my opinion through his accomplishments. Some of the domestic things that Jefferson changes where through the states. Thomas Jefferson proudly succeeded in limiting the size of government by reducing taxes and the national debt in 1801. He also established a military academy to produce more soldiers to help out the military. Jefferson also repealed or took away the Alien and Sedition in 1801.

If I had to pick who was my favorite historical figure or the one that made the greatest contributions to society during the Age of Revolution, my choice would be John Adams. No other man worked as hard or played as important as role in the movement for independence. One of the ways John Adams contributed to the American Revolution was by serving in both the First and the Second Continental Congresses.
FDR was faced with many crises and difficulties coming into the presidency with the depression and later in his presidency WWII. In my eighth grade opinion George Washington was one of America 's greatest leaders of all time. He was first introduced to the public eye when we fought in the Revolutionary war. He fought off them off in a huge bloody battle that matched the British’s coats. He was a stern man and he wouldn’t abandon his men for anything. He used his very intelligent brains to strategically plan his crossing of the Delaware.
In the sea of names listed in American history, the name of George Washington will always be remembered as one of the brightest, if not the brightest, of them all. The fact that this man was the first president of the United States of America has very little to do with this; it is his personality that made him stand out. George Washington was more than just a politician – he is a national pride; a loyal man who’d shaped one of the greatest nation in this world, the United States of America. America wouldn’t be what it is today without him.
pilots, soldiers and anybody else in the military can be a patriot. in fact there probably the greatest patriots we have. They fight for us, our country and most importantly our freedoms. if we did not have our freedoms then we could go back to everybody being or servant sto others and not being equal. D. Martin Luther King has shaped America into something we today know as normal but things in the past they would look at us like were crazy.
The extent to which executive power may be used by any individual president is often disputed. Executive power has gradually been expanding over the past years as each president interprets the lengths of boundaries. All of our presidents have impacted the fluctuation executive power, whether positively or negatively; however, President Obama had the greatest impact with the expansion of executive power by focusing on broadening human rights within our own nation, and also by helping the United States regain balance in the international community. Other nations are much farther in regards to human rights, and this remains an issue for the citizens of the United States for a couple reasons. President Obama has not only recognized this issue, but has worked to combat it, and as a result of this
