Fighter “We gotta go now,” said Jack. “Ok just let me finish getting off this horse’s rope,” said Joe. “Alright let's go.” We get on the horses. But they are closing in around us. But as they close in Jack sees a gap in their wall. “Go through that gap right there before they move in,” whispered Jack. Joe gallops towards the gap. But no fast enough the romans slam the flat of their sword into joe just as he reaches the gap. He falls backward causing jack to fall with him. Jack starts crawling out from underneath joe. The horse they attempted to steal stampeded away. One of the romans tells his lesser to go get the horse. They are all looking away just as jack get out from under joe. Then he says” I will give you a choice fight for me as a gladiator or die as a peasant. Jack states” I will fight it is better than death. “ The man says “ you are going to regret that decision a whole lot in the next couple days.” The man says” my name is samuel your first fight is tommorow the fight will be against 1 of my gladiators. “It will not be a fight to the death.” Says samuel sadly. “ 1 more thing what happened to my friend.” Jack asked worried. “He was executed for stabbing an archer.” Samuel stated. “ He didnt do it though it was me.” Jack said full of sorrow.” I would advise you keep that to yourself kid im gonna need you for the fight.” Samuel said maniacally. Samuel unlocks the lock on jacks chaines. He hands jack a sword and a weak tin chestplate and says” I was kidding the battle is in 5 minutes get ready.” Then he leaves the room clearly not wanting to answer any questions. Jack puts on the chestplate and looks at the sword. Engraved into it was the word luck. Jack leaves the room and sees a gladiator. “GO,” Screamed samuel.
