Pollution! the number 1 contributor to global warming and global contamination. Pollution is a substance or thing that has a harmful or poisonous effect in the environment. There are sub types of water and air pollution. Many pollutants have deadly effects in the environment. Global warming is one of the factors created by pollution and other variants. In the world there are two types of pollution and one connected outcome, one type of pollution is air pollution, another is water pollution, and the outcome is global warming. The seven types of air pollution considered the greatest threat to human health in the United States, and the first regulated by the 1970 United States Clean Air Act, include sulfur dioxide, particulates, carbon monoxide, volatile organic compounds, nitrogen oxides, ozone, and lead. Air pollution is the main cost of pollution in the world with many factors affecting it. There have been acts to destroy air pollution but is still stays as the number 1 problem in the case of pollution. Many people oppose the existence of air pollution saying it’s probably caused by other source including those that aren’t man made. Also, some opposers say that air pollution is made up by cooperate companies to increase the cause of more natural resources, but this is just a blatant conspiracy. Among the most important types of water pollution are sediment, trash, and thermal changes such as global warming. Sediment and trash make up the greatest amount of visible type of water pollution in most rivers, lakes, and oceans around the world. Worldwide there is erosion from croplands, forests, and construction sites is estimated to add over 75 billion tons of sediment each year. This sediment smothers gravel beds in which many types of aquatic animals lay their eggs. It fills lakes, and obstructs shipping channels, clogs hydroelectric turbines, and makes drinking water purification costlier. Besides air pollution there is also water pollution which is also caused by many variants causing more health issues to drinking supplies. Today people oppose this argument by saying that water pollution is easily not harmful to the environment. This is not true because today because many countries have water problems due to low water sources caused by trash and erosion.
