The trend of globalization requires many conditions that Vietnam have to adapt in order to satisfy. Vietnam is currently facing many challenges in many fields such as economy, demography and politics. The goverment plays a vital role in the advancement of a country as every govermental policy has a considerable impact on the country’s well-being. However, it can be noted that the policy of the government has proved to be ineffective. Therefore, Vietnam has to make every effort to improve its current unstable state such as having multi-parties, the allowance of free vote and reducing the corruption. Vietnam is ranked 119 out of 175 on the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) in 2014 and was scored: 31/100 (0 indicates high level of corruption and 100 is very clean). Because the people are the reflection its government, government corrupts also means that people corrupt. Preventing corruption is a tall order. However, steps can be taken to reduce it significantly. We should reduce the number of officers who are unessential, which will help to save a huge budget and as a basis for raising the salary for those in the government at all levels. And law to dismiss from service if found to be involved in corruption should be enacted. It is the first step to control the corruption in public office. Denmark, which was ranked 1 on the CPI, is a good example of the transparency, integrity and control of corruption. They publish their budget information, close the door to waste and misappropriation of public funds. The Open Budget Index shows that Sweden allows citizens to assess how their government is managing public funds. Denmark obliges ministers to monthly publish information on their spending travel and gifts. Therefore, Vietnam can copy Denmark’s transparency route to good governance. They should seek to promote information disclosure as well as enhance citizens’ participation throughout the budget process. It will help to reduce
