Going to the gym has always been something I wanted to do to see results and improvements on my body. The Goodlife gym has and will continuously change my feelings towards Health and Fitness and the challenges you must face while overcoming the struggle of weight lifting, losing weight, as well as time management. First off weight lifting was one thing I struggled with while first going to the gym. Seeing others lift heavy weights such as sixty-pound weights while you can only lift twenty-pound weights can be really intimidating and at times I thought I should just quit, however I stayed with the weight lifting learned from others at the gym and overtime became stronger and stronger to the point where I am now that person lifting
It was July 4, 2016, when the thought of losing weight and having a toned body was a way of the past. Barbell Republic Strength and Conditioning opened their doors offering an array of cardio, strength training, and weightlifting workouts. I have always been competitive from junior high into high school (I wanted to be first) and participating in Cross Fit it has fulfilled my desire to compete. On the 8th of April, 2017, my friend Stephanie and I competed in a local charitable Cross Fit challenge in Las Vegas. The event was a day full of competition, food, supplements, clothing lines and most importantly giving back.
"Weight loss is simple. Eat less, move more, use common sense with your food choices. This is simple, but weight loss is not easy and that's because food becomes a crutch - a source of comfort and a coping mechanism for so many." While Michaels stresses the importance of diet for weight loss, she's still a very big proponent of regular exercise. She concedes that many people find it hard to juggle gym time with all of life's other commitments but notes that she's concerned with the trend of micro workouts. "
The first time I went to the weight room in the winter we had to max out. I was nervous and my heart was pounding out of my chest as if I were having a heart attack. I had to clean, bench, and squat. I started with squat and I was happy with my weight. Second was bench and it was my least favorite lift.
Athletic participation at all ages has increased tremendously over the years. Student-athletes are working harder to become bigger, stronger and faster. As the number of athletes rise in schools, so does the chance of athletic related injuries. This is leading to the increase number of athletic trainers at the high school level across the country. Athletic trainer is defined as a “health care professional who collaborates with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation” (AMA 19).
Furthermore, they’ve committed their lives to the gym. Consequently, their dedication paid off. I have always loved sports. I try my very best to work hard at them. The hard work that I have put in and the lessons I have learned, have helped shape who I am today.

One of those challenges would be to go to the gym at least once a day. The reason I would do this because like Matt talks about, time goes on and it is up to us to actually take the first step. The example that he gave us had to a lot of what we see on the T.V. one of those situations was the 30 day challenge where the main character eats McDonalds for 30 day straight. He does this by letting the 30 days going forward and changing habits to be able to eat the fast food. Going back to the idea of me going to the gym would be using this same concept and constantly doing this habit until finally it become something that I am used
Furthermore, when I am motivated to work out, I enjoy running outside. I view the gym as a very reliable place to work out, but I also believe gym’s are boring and provide a disadvantage for athlete because the athletes do not become accustomed to the heat or the cold. Lastly, one thing that a lot of people like to do is to lift weights. I believe lifting weights can be an important activity in sports that are more physical, but I personally find lifting weights extremely boring. I perceive physical strength to be somewhat important, but one of the most important aspects of a sport that I see is
Fantastic Fitness is a place of “public accommodation” whose services are generally open to the public. Fantastic Fitness is demanding an exemption from the law because women have expressed a religious and private desire to exercise in a private room separate from men. Additionally, Fantastic Fitness has a policy of restricting special fitness equipment to men over the age of twenty-five so that “. . . no one is injured using the special equipment.” A three-tiered analysis will be applied to examine whether the law (1) is generally valid to businesses open to the public, (2) if the law is a legitimate use of Columbia County’s police powers, and (3) if Columbia County is obligated to exempt Fantastic Fitness from the law based on age, sex, privacy, and religious grounds.
Some clubs have been created to help others there have been made more gymnasiums for people who are willing to help themselves. Exercising can help people to have a good life in a way where they can feel their body with joy and not with symptoms that can bother the person to be happy. The world would be a better world without diseases but that is impossible we live in a world where all we see is diseases food is good and bad it just depends on the person. I became much more of a positive thinker and also much more confident and social. I had never experienced this feeling before and I felt like a new person. Although many talk of fitness as only a physical change it is also very beneficial for your mind and changes the way you perceive things. Weightlifting can have an overall positive impact on your life. I felt as if I had finally broken out of my shell and started enjoying life more.

Instantly, I began to notice that I felt a lot better and had more energy to do my daily tasks and was able to believe in myself more. Thesis Statement: Today, I am going to share these three points on why everyone should exercise weekly.
Most of the people in the gym had their headphones in and were inside of their own world, oblivious to what was going on in all of the surrounding areas. The majority of the conversations that were going on were most often strictly gym based questions. I heard a few questions that were not just gym based but for the most part I was hearing questions about the weight amounts people should use, or questions of people asking another person to put more weight onto their machines and such things. One specific conversation I heard was two guys talking about the pre-workout and post-workout they drink, the guys were discussing their favorites and why they were their favorites. My favorite part of the conversation was at the end when they both said they
