Google, one of the world's largest companies, which own the brand: Android, Google, Google Play, Chrome and more, has a core competency which is its search engine. The company that was founded in 1998 by Sergey Brin and Larry Page has a mission statement: "To organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful.” In addition, Google's initial public offering took place on August 19, 2004.
