What did you like about this script?
Overall, the areas I enjoyed most from this script were Grace and Morgan’s relationship, the comedic undertones in the narrative and Grace’s resistance to facing her past.
Grace and Morgan’s characters could not be more different in terms of their personalities and perspectives and I think that the writer has done a great job of building their relationship from the ground up. Throughout the script, Grace and Morgan’s characters often complement each other in terms of humor and sarcasm.
Grace’s character is awkward, painfully-honest and at times a bit more childish than Morgan who’s rude and snobbish behavior did not seem to be tampered with their arrival to Dirt Springs.
I also liked that the character

This scene further signifies the strength of their friendship and it is an aspect an audience can easily resonate with.
What do you think needs work?
The two things I think still needs work with this script is the stall in narrative progression in the second act and Morgan and Alex’s relationship.
The first act of this script sets Grace and Morgan up to go to Dirt Springs and establish whether the XMoo station should be closed or not.
Likewise, with both Morgan and Grace’s determination to be done and out of the small town the two unexpectingly seem to become complacent and content with the idea of working at the station and staying in the trailer park. Furthermore, I was surprised that Morgan’s character did not but up more of a fight to settling into Dirt Springs than she did.
The sole reason Morgan’s father, Ty sends the duo to Dirt Springs seems to be all but forgotten until around page, 75 or so when Morgan spots Grace on the phone with her father. Ty wanted the two of them to come to a decision about the radio station, but he also wanted Morgan to grow up and learn
I did not have many complaints. Even though, at times, I may have felt there was information or conversations that were not entirely needed, it did add more depth to the book and allowed the reader to see more into each individual
I also thought the book should have been longer because I wanted to know what happened to the Tucks after they helped Mae escape jail and what happened to Winnie after she chose not drink the water from the bottle Jesse gave her. The ending of the book was sad when Winnie died and Tuck went to her grave and saw her. The Tucks’ Differences
I appreciated the different sisters’ stories and perspectives while trying to live their lives as best they could. The way the novel jumps from past to present throughout the chapters is very interesting to me. For instance, Dede was brought back to present day when speaking to the interviewer, but seemed to be “going back into the past after hearing certain things about certain people” (Alvarez 66). She would often change back and forth throughout the chapter, keeping the reader involved with what events were happening during the time. Also, when the interviewer asked questions, “Dede feels as if she cannot carry off her responsibility by talking about the terrible past” but she realizes that this is the best thing to do for her family (Alvarez 65).
The dialogue of his characters is similarly spare and understated but with a bitterness and unpleasantness which underlie their true feelings. I found this to be especially true of Margaret and Alaric. By the end of the novel, you wonder whether Fabian's weakness is any less forgiveable than the whiskey swigging Margaret's upfront ruthlessness. Probably not. The novel has all the human interest elements to make a great story and it succeeds for much of the time.
I enjoyed how the supporting characters helped to shape Jamal and add to his characters depth throughout the film. His brother T, had a big impact on Jamal. He encouraged him to always do his best in both academics and in sports. T supported his brother and made sure to be there for him physically and well as mentally. Claire Spence was the love interest of Jamal’s character and young lady he met at the prep school he was recruited to.
Morgan intercepts the letters and gifts that Ethan and Rachel send each other, which cuts off all communication between them, damaging their relationship. They both think that the
As a reflection of both of her gold and blue side, Grace’s job requires her to be a caring individual. All of the children in Short Term 12 have gone through very tough times in their lives and they need a strong support system to work through any issues that arise in their life. Grace is the person in Short Term 12 to offer support. Jack, the leader of the operation, was talking to Grace about a new
What I didn’t really like about it, was the lack of development for their relationship. To me, it seemed that she hated his guts, then boom! He says he is able to break her mother’s curse which makes her already attracted to him. I believe the author could’ve had the two slowly open up to each other, and maybe include a few awkward moments that shows the development of their love for each other. Despite the minor setback, I could not contain my excitement and muffled my squeals with a pillow.
There were some positive things throughout the story. One example, is the author did a decent job of creating suspense. This means the author kept building on the main conflict that kept the reader interested in the story. For instance, in the story, Kyle locked Cameryn in his chicken coop and threatened to hurt her. However, his tactics kept in question
It showed that the pressure of always being perfect and beautiful was hard on her. I also liked that most students can relate to being pressured to be something they’re not. I disliked that I felt the length of the book on multiple occasions. I identified with Paige because I have also been pressured to be someone I don’t want to be. In the story, Paige is pressured to be perfect and make no mistakes and this often happens in real life.
All the people in the tons attitudes had changed the next day because all the non Indigenous people had complained about Gracey getting lots of travel expenses and items for free. I think that the next day when Mr Jenkins said this he was trying to say that if Gracie wants to get anywhere in life as an aboriginal she needs to fight for her rights and stand up for herself against the white people in the little town of Cunningham. I think Mr Jenkins said this to give her an important message saying that life will be hard. “do you understand” (J. Moloney, pg 22 ) I think that in this situation, Mr Jenkins knows that there is a risk of Gracey not being able to compete or have the gear needed for the big trip to Brisbane.
Amazing Grace: Historical Accuracy The 2006 film Amazing Grace depicts the struggle of a British parliament member named William Wilberforce as he worked tirelessly toward the abolishment of The Atlantic Slave Trade in Great Britain. Comparing this 2006 film with primary and secondary source documents, along with some internet research, I was able to find some consistencies and some discrepancies with historical accuracy. As like most Hollywood films, there is a certain amount of dramatic flair added to the film but overall it seems to accurately represents some of the events that led up to the successful abolishment of The Atlantic Slave Trade in 1807.
Judith was impatient and Mercy was kind. The thing I would change if I had the option might be the title. The title is “The Witch of the Blackbird Pond” and the “witch” is not even mentioned until the eighth chapter and after that she isn’t even really a main character. I liked pretty much everything, except for some awkwardness.
“Amazing Grace” is about a time when John Newton was in a storm and prayed for the Lord’s mercy. John Newton was born in London on July 24, 1725. His mother was Elizabeth Scatliff. Newton loved learning from his mother because his father was barely ever around. Newton’s mother was a Christian religious woman.
Other than that, I was happy to see her finally standing up to herself when she sarcastically expressing her gratefulness to both Dale and Linda for saving her from marrying Dale at her dinner party. However, there were a few things about Aria’s character that I do not like. In the chapter where she considered Justin’s proposal, she wanted him for herself yet after everything dawned to her mind, she had second-guessing her decisions and feeling muddled with her feelings for him. Aria’s character was described as a career woman who worked herself to be at a top position in the company for the past five years.
