I am Abdullah Almuayli, I born in Riyadh, which is the capital city of Saudi Arabia. Since I was young, I always dream to complete my higher studies abroad. Thus, I decided to come to the US for seeking out a degree in computer science. However, I am currently studying at Park University and I am almost accomplishing my goal. Moreover, there are some activities that I Sometimes do during free time such as working-out. I also find attending some school clubs very Interesting. When it comes to family, I can consider that I belong to an extended family. My father is a businessman and my mother is a teacher. As human beings, there are a lot of things that I am interested in, but I consider that using the modern social media such as Twitter is what I am interested in. Personally, I find Twitter is …show more content…
In addition of that, I like to work at any Bank when I graduate from Park University. I always like the environmental job at the bank because it has many advantages to individuals such as getting to know people. I always think about helping people because I think people deserve happiness. Thus, working at the bank will benefit me towards my thinking. Studying at one of the US institutions has brought me so many benefits such as getting to know the US culture and how to interact with the American people. There is a class that I took when I was freshman called LE100. This class has taught me many life skills such as interacting with the American people and exploring the University life. I applied what I have learned from the class to my life. As a result of that, I am able to interact with the American people in the appropriate way. However, I am expecting to gain some useful skills while taking EN306B such as writing an ideal
For the past four years, I have maintained a conceptual continuity in my academic pursuit of quality work in the legal system. While in college I pursuit a criminal justice major with the intention to go to law school after graduating. I dreamed of becoming a lawyer since I was a young girl. However, during my senior year of college, I felt perplexed of my future, was not sure if I wanted to continue pursuing this old dream that I once thought it was my goal in life. Like most graduating seniors, I was not sure of what I wanted to do with my degree once I attain it.
Instead, you do multiple activities with your family. Some activities that I do with my family is play a basketball, football, dodgeball, and kickball game, play a board game, play tag and hide-and-go seek, and we go black friday shopping. In spite of this, when I surveyed my classmates, they responded that they watch a football game, play board games, just talk, have a talent show, and play musical instruments. As you can see, we both have two or three things in common, but everything else is different.
When looking at colleges, I seek to find a institution that can help me grow in three specific areas to achieve my educational goals. If I can gain a solid foundation in general knowledge, an ever-increasing ability to critically think, and a well-rounded capacity to interact with and administer computer systems, I will become both prepared and uniquely qualified as I work towards my immediate goal of earning a computer related degree. Both the knowledge and the degree will serve me well as I go on to become an employee entering the highly competitive technology workforce. My interest in computers began as a middle school student.
Ever since I was a young child, I enjoyed structure and searched for it in the midst of chaos found I life. Being an only child, I was not able to rebel against my parents and was under constant surveillance. However, as I grew up and entered my teenage years, my parents viewed my choices as rebellious ones. They felt I fell out of their structure and began to build my own and become my own person. Growing up with this structure also lead me to search for it in my academics.
My Academics at Oberlin: I am attracted to Oberlin as it has a strong Mathematical Economics Concentration program. At Oberlin, I am considering to explore the intersections of Economics and Mathematics. That said, the classes I am going to take will not be limited to only these areas. In addition to economics and programming, I would like to explore other subjects as well. I don’t want to lose sight of all the other things that will make me a well-rounded individual.
"Time and Tide wait for none", keeping that in mind I decided to sort-out some options for further education after completing my bachelors in field of electrical &electronics engineering, during period of my bachelors i have developed my keen interest in Fields of electronics and other hand electronics is inseparable part of human in 21st century so it's evergreen field . I have completed my bachelors in electrical & electronics engineering from GTU having a CGPA of 6.82. During my bachelors I acquired knowledge related to Power electronics, Industrial automation, Power system, Electrical machines etc. The sprak of getting deeper in the field of electronics ignited in my mind when i came across subject called 'Industrial automation' during my bachelors and that very time i decided to go deep in electronics field.
While doing my undergraduate studies in Psychology I got the opportunity to meet many great professors that helped me to become the graduate student I am today. During my first year in The University of Puerto Rico I took an advanced literature course with a brilliant professor that could analyze any story in a manner that was not only understandable but also interesting. I was mesmerized, but not by her knowledge but by the teaching methodology she employed to project that knowledge. I ended up taking three more courses with her that led to the development of a great friendship that I cherish to this day. Throughout my undergraduate years I had the privilege of meeting several professors just like her that influenced my personal and professional
I grew up multicultural, my parents immigrated from China and I’ve spent most of my life living here. My life has been a hybridization of the two cultures and growing up I’ve always been very aware of their differences. The idea that a person’s life is heavily influenced by their background has always interested me. Someone’s background affects their upbringing, the development of their values and interests. The realization that changing a person’s cultural heritage has the potential to change how they live their life fascinates me and also presents me with a challenge.
I believe the knowledge acquired in schools and colleges is not an education, but the means to it. It is this faith that makes me ‘a knowledge seeker to the end of my days’. Of all the memories of my childhood, one I deeply cherish is that of my first day in school. I obviously remember the tears rolling from my eyes as my parents bade me good- bye leaving me in an unknown environment.
At eight years old, my mom took me to my first Badger Football game. She reminisced about memories of once being a Badger while I envisioned myself future-self as a Badger. She told me about her long walks up Bascom Hill and her favorite moments on State Street. She inspired me to strive to be a Badger. After visiting Madison three separate times (all for graduations of different family members), it made me want it more.
I secured 91% in 10th grade and 86% in 12th grade. I graduated with Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College - affiliated to JNTU, which is the one of the top ten colleges in our state and one of the very few colleges that has got NBA accreditation for its computer science and systems engineering department. The four year course in Computer Science & Systems Engineering has given me a comprehensive knowledge of the basic areas in Computer Science & Engineering such as Computer Organization, Operating Systems, Programming Languages, Distributed Systems, Cryptography & Information Security, Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Compiler Design and Artificial Intelligence. I look to graduate study to refine my knowledge and skills in my areas of interest.
NSCS could help me in some of the major issues I face in college. To start with, I'm an international student and it is difficult paying my tuition and fees. My country, Nigeria, is going through some social and economic hardships. This affects the exchange rate in the country's currency to dollars. The rate is a huge difference and I can not cope with it since it is my parents sponsoring my education.
I have always wondered how technology can be beneficial to mass people. The thought of inventing something that can help thousands of people has always fascinated me. That’s why, after completing my graduation in Computer Science, I had decided to pursue higher studies focusing on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). This thought that, by working in HCI, I will be able to design for people and the result of my hard work will bring about a positive impact on someone’s life, motivates me. HCI actually helps to bind people and technology together and this combination along with the satisfaction makes it an ideal research area for me.
“If you love what you do and are willing to do what it takes, it’s within your reach. And it’ll be worth every minute you spend alone at night, thinking and thinking about what it is you want to design or build. It’ll be worth it, I promise.” Steve Wozniak As a millennial, throughout my life I have seen new technologies come up in the blink of an eye and evolve at a whiplash-inducing pace.
Social Media is a great tool for learners who want to know more about a specific topic or if students want to stay updated with what is going on around the
