A very good morning to the principal of Sekolah Kebangsaan Tanjung Durian, fellow line of dedicated teachers and dear students. I would like to thank the lovely Principal, Pn.Bahamas for inviting me here today to give a speech this beautiful morning. Let me give you a brief introduction of myself before getting started with my speech this fine morning. For those of you who know me it is lovely to see all of you again and for those of you do not know me, my name is Melvin. I am a successful Entrepreneur who is a proud former student from this school. I have had many amazing memories here among the dedicated teachers. Let me get started then. Have all of you taken breakfast? Can I see a show of hands on who has had a very filling breakfast? Excellent. I had a healthy breakfast so I am energized and excited to give you all this speech titled, Breakfast.
The word breakfast is made up of two words, which is break and fast. Fast is when you do not consume any food. Well, of course you would not be fasting when you sleep walk towards your kitchen, open the fridge and eat the delicious chocolate cake you helped your mum bake. Seems like some of you had done that before. Breakfast is when you break your fast by eating. For example, when you wake up in the morning and your mum has prepared a delicious bowl of your favorite cereal for you to have before heading to school. You eat the bowl of cereal happily and you have broken your fast. This healthy and delicious meal will make you
It’s important to eat nutrient-dense food during “feeding time”. Some people take amino acid supplements during their fast to help ensure protein maintenance. • Skipping breakfast difficulties: Intermittent fasting programs will have you skip breakfast. This can lead to fatigue, headaches, low energy and other undesirable effects. If you’re at work while still fasting, these potential effects could cause be disruptive.
The main argument made by Marc Tucker, in his work “Making Graduation Meaningful: A Real Qualification System for U.S Students,” is that qualification systems provide more social mobility for students. More Specifically, Tucker argues that these systems prepare students for a better future and career by providing common curriculums that produce high expectations. Tucker address, “A common curriculum produces common expectations. Second, common exams set to a common curriculum reinforce high expectations (Tucker 5)”. This demonstrate that a common course of study will allow students to have similar beliefs of high quality.

Marching band; copious amounts of people scoff at the sound of those words. I often hear students commenting on how easy marching band is, how we don’t train like the football players do. At Anderson High School, that’s not the case, the marching band trains for just as long. As a band of over 125 individuals, it takes determination, pride, and confidence to achieve the goals we have set forth to accomplish. As a leader of the saxophone section, I know what it’s like to face failure, to overcome and turn it into success and to march on with confidence.
The atmosphere of Schoenfeld Campus Gym had been electrifying Thursday afternoon. The Fall Homecoming Pep Rally included numerous activities for Concordia’s sports team to partake in. For example, one “challenge” involved a member of the sports team getting wrapped up in toilet paper, under the pressure of a time clock. When time ran out, whichever individual was wrapped in the most toilet paper (or looked the most like they had just emerged from an Egyptian pyramid) won that game. The CCNY Pep Rally acted as an opportunity for the rest of the student body to become familiar with our famed athletic program, and to mingle with this elite status of the student.
I am deeply honored to be one of the many students to be considered for the National Honor Society. This is something I have been looking forward to ever since I left my former school 's National Honor Society. As my dreams of being inducted are slowly getting closer to becoming a reality, I truly really what qualities are to be shown by those who get the opportunity to be considered. Not only would it be an enormous honor to be accepted, it will show that hard work and effort truly pays off.
I am truly honored to be considered for being a part of The national honor Society. Being a part of this organization has been a goal for me since I first knew about what it was, and how it does great things for the community. I am inspired when I hear the great actions it national honor Society has done and I hope to be a part of this admirable organization. I feel I am qualified to be a part of this organization because of my dedication and hard work. Every day I follow the same routine.
Lone Star High School is a location where students can feel secure and have many opportunities to showcase their skills and leadership qualities. Our campus is built upon five figurative pillars; Integrity, Strength, Stewardship, Loyalty and Perseverance. These pillars are what make us the admirable school that we are today. I believe everyone of our students must have these five qualities in order to ensure success now and later on in the future. As a student I believe that for one to have integrity they must show signs of righteous ethical morals.
But I missed breakfast. I was working and when I finished they made me do more. Then was lunch break. I thought I would get food. But I didn’t.
Congratulations! You are invited to join the founding National English Honor Society at Chancellor High School for the 2016-2017 school year. As a found chapter, members will be responsible for creating and developing the very foundation of this honor society at Chancellor High School. Some of the responsibilities of founding members are naming the chapter, electing officers, creating bylaws, holding an induction ceremony, and carrying out chapter service and activity projects.
“Now as you excel in every respect, in faith, discourse, knowledge, all earnestness, and in the love we have for you, may you excel in this gracious act also” (2 Corinthians 8:7). I have gratitude towards God for gifting me with so many outstanding capabilities. I show my thankfulness by aiding to the necessities of others. I have been blessed with not only the advantage of wanting to learn, but also the motivation to succeed with the guidance of God. My goal is to be sincere in everything that I accomplish in and out of school.
Also, if school starts later you will be able to have a proper and healthy breakfast. It is important for students’ because with there growing bodies and developing brains they need regular refueling often, from food. When kids skip breakfast, they don’t get what they need to be at their best in school and at home. If you’re short on time you can just throw some fruit in a blender and make a delicious and nutritious smoothie.
Breakfast is a very important meal. A good breakfast fuels you up and gets you ready for the day. Without breakfast, people can get irritable, restless, and tired. Breakfast helps you break overnight fast and gives you energy to start a new day. This meal has proved to be linked to many health benefits.
This literally means breaking the fast of the night. As we all know, the term ‘breakfast’ literally translates as ‘breaking the fast’, which makes breakfast as the first meal usually eaten in the morning. Imagine how many hours have it been since one eats after having dinner, say, at 7 pm and then having breakfast at 7 am the next morning? In this case, it would be more or less than 12 hours-thus, making breakfast the most important meal of the day. Breakfast is also considered as brain food because it will get you going in the morning.
