On bulletin boards, there are ads and corporate influence where there could be information on studying tutoring, or important meetings. The distraction of there being a paper or a whole bulletin unrelated to school distracts them from staying on track. Some ads are about real life problems and are similar to the effects on the world and the government. These ads could sway an underdeveloped child who is reading them. If a sponsorship was from a political person, it could affect the student’s perception of political ways, and how a certain party works. Therefore, A school should be a neutral place where they go to learn things that they will carry with them for the rest of their
Anyon article discussed students of different social class background is exposed to different types of educational knowledge. Anyon used four distinctive schools; working class, middle class, affluent and executive, located in New Jersey. The education the students received reflected the social class level. In fact, school is like a home to children such as Barry who needs the love and care of attention from an adult to made them feel safe and comfort and if school arts and creativity were taken away many children would feel left out of this world and have nothing to
Did you know that many schools are wanting to allow guns in school property? Some school systems believe that having weapons will make the school secure. However, many people believe differ. While some people believe that carrying weapons can lead to protection, it has a risk of being dangerous and school personnel should not be allowed to carry weapons. This has been a topic talked about to this day. However, many people think otherwise.
“No Trespassing.” It’s a message that we’ve all seen before, on street signs and on fences, but that most of us stopped considering as part of our daily lives. These signs just sort of blend into the background, no more noticeable than a crack in the sidewalk or a plain, solid-colored exterior wall. On the ordinary brown-painted brick backside of a bar in San Francisco’s Mission District, a bold, red No Trespassing sign is the center of a piece of thought-provoking street art. Below and to the right of the sign are some run-of-the-mill graffiti tags: pale yellow spray paint forming illegible words marking the territory of a gang or juvenile delinquent. On the left side of the wall is a bleak barred window. In 2010, renowned street artist Banksy, whose real identity is unknown, transformed a No Trespassing sign and typical graffiti into a powerful political message rife with symbolism reminding the audience of the historical struggle of the American Indian.
In the 18th century, Genevan philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau influenced the French Revolution through his ideas and principals. In his book, The Social Contract, Rousseau said that every man is born good until corrupted by society. Rousseau was correct in saying that people were born good, people were naturally born with a pure heart because God made us that way. However, one could argue that man is born evil based off of the perspective of society’s moral laws, which Rousseau may not have considered. Man is born evil because every human being is born with a desire for possession and a hunger for power.
“Although hundreds of thousands of individuals and groups promoting peace and justice now work across the world, the successes of the global peace network are rarely noticed.” (Wood) Additionally, the public who promote peace and justice are rarely noticed for their input to society. In the photograph titled, “Street Art with Graffiti in Copenhagen” by Shepard Fairey, follows the promotion of global peace and the protest against wars in the world. The image shows a painted mural, a former site of a youth culture center, on a seventy-foot-high wall with a dove in flight above the word "peace" and the figure "69". Also, at the bottom of the mural was graffiti painted over with "no peace" and "go home, Yankee hipster" by angry individuals, the youth culture center, who saw it as a propaganda provocation paid for by the city who tore down the youth culture center. Through Fairey’s photograph shows the importance of peace in the world. The photograph is hope that the public will follow with global peace. Fairey’s political mural is successful in conveying his

Is yard bombing art or vandalism? When I first saw the yard bombing images it reminded me of graffiti. Yard bombing and graffiti also share the similarities in that they both can appear to be vandalism. Last month in the metro there was an article complaining about this large graphic picture of rapper Drake that was on the side of a building he owned. He thought it was art while others thought it was graffiti and an eye sore.
some students will still find a way to use graffiti we should build a wall so we could have A place to express our artwork.
Artist Andy Warhol once declared, “Art is anything you can get away with.” Street art has had a rough history with lots of controversy over the topic of being considered an art in the art world. Most people think graffiti is just silly and has little meaning. The style graffiti portrays makes it stick out from the rest of the art styles because it has creative lettering and abstract images that are painted on walls around the globe. Graffiti should be considered art because it has lots of popularity, it has a message, and it is very creative.
These students claim that school uniforms deprive them of the right to wear whatever they want and his can result in students making adjustments to their uniforms. On the other hand, there are other ways in which students can express themselves rather than in their appearance. Another way is that schools can teach students how to express themselves in the arts. Using art is a healthy way to express students’ emotions and their state of mind. Schools can develop programs or activities that include drawing, music, dance, martial arts, theater, sculpture and even crafts.
