There are some thoughts that deny the role of grammar in the process of learning and teaching the language. These thoughts are based on the idea that children can speak the language and they already know it without being introduced to grammar. But those thoughts were proven not true and meaningless because grammar has a very important role, it is one of the ways we can use to introduce the language to the kids in parts and it makes the language easier for adults to use.
So what is the role of grammar? It is the question that most of the students, learners and some teachers are asking some times. To know the role and the importance of grammar we need to see first what does it mean? Grammar is an essential part or we can say that it is one of the most important components of the English language. Grammar is the first thing to be presented, It is the section of the language that cope words’ structure (morphology), their special order in sentences (syntax), all of this beside the sounds (phonology) and the meaning (semantic). When we ask what the meaning of grammar is, the first thing that comes in our head is that Grammar is a group of rules put together to regulate how to use the language. This answer is somehow true but we can add to it, Grammar is a kind of system that contains a lot of attached units and factors that guarantee the accuracy of the language.
