I’m Brittany, Britt, B, whatever you feel! Originally from Jacksonville, FL but now living in beautiful Savannah, GA where I’m currently completing this course. As of now, my major is fashion marketing and management. However, I’m beginning to lean more towards graphic design which is why I enrolled in this course. Something interesting about me might be that I grew up in the same house for nearly 21 years (I’m only 24) so living away from home and in a town as cool and eclectic as Savannah, GA is a nice change! I previously took CMPA-100-OL with Professor Witte in Spring 2016 and grew to enjoy it so much (it’s probably been my most enjoyable class thus far)! I’m taking this course as a studio elective and am looking forward to learning more

I 'm Bria Davis. I originally attended California University of Pennsylvania but life happened and now I am taking classes at CCP. My major is now Liberal Arts and this is not my first distance education course; I previously took some distance course at my former University. Taking distance courses allows me flexibility for work, and I find that I 'm more focused and less distracted in non-traditional classes. I took this course because I plan on transferring to the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and enrolling in their Embalming and Funeral Service Program.
Since beginning my search for the right college, I have had to ask myself these similar questions to help me decide what school will be the best fit for me and allow me to take in the full college experience. It was simple to become interested in Eau Claire because of the positive recommendations from people in my life and because of the location, which I found intriguing. I spoke to many alumni who articulated the positive aspects offered by Eau Claire and encouraged me to consider it as a great option for my future education. Knowing people who have graduated and who are currently attending Eau Claire makes it easier to feel more secure in my decision to apply and envision myself becoming a Blugold. The college location and size were important features because I wanted to have an out of state experience as well as attend a school that was not too
During my job shadow with Ms. Eileen Chalupa on Doane’s Campus I learned how to be creative, come up with my own style of graphic designing, and most importantly to never give up or lose hope on a project that someone has asked for. Her job is the head graphic designer at Doane University. Some questions that I asked her during the job shadow were what are some positive aspects and negative aspects of working as a graphic designer, are the hours flexible for the job and another question I asked was what training did she do to get ready for this type of work and if it required any type of education to complete. One of the reasons she chose this career was because her mother went through the desktop publishing program at Southeast Community
Upon entering college determining your future career is imperative. It is a struggle trying to understand what career best suits me and my skills. I do not want to have a career where I am unhappy or uninterested in what I do. While reflecting on what career best suits me, I reflected on all of my skills that I could enhance. In high school, I tried to involve myself in different groups, organizations, and classes so I can get a feel for possible fields that I thought about pursuing.
In my senior year of High School I dual enrolled at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida. I decided to pursue an AA degree in Graphic Design because I wanted to hold off on graphic arts until I reach a University. I choose University of Florida as my dream college because of their outstanding College of the Arts. Attending UF’s program will equip me with the skills I need to be a successful graphic designer. The core skills I hope to acquire are problem solving, working well with others, and more.

Fashion designing is one of the most rewarding professions in the globe today. As a member of my student SCSHP chapter, I have involved myself heavily in the promotion of the practice of pharmacy. Ever since my first year of pharmacy school I have been an active member of my student chapter and have strived to learn as much as possible. It has been an honor to have been nominated by my peers to receive a scholarship award from this outstanding organization. My student chapter has provided numerous opportunities for me to grow as a leader and future pharmacist. Promoting the importance of antibiotic awareness to the members of my community was my first opportunity as a first year student to become involved.
I always wanted to be graphic designer since my freshman year when i took a course on it and i really enjoyed it. My work style fits this career in many ways. To begin this writing, I want to say I am very honored to be part of the 2022 waitlist, I see it as another opportunity to prove myself worthy of Stern. I lived in Nigeria for almost nine years, and the things I saw have had a lasting impact in my life. In Nigeria, I was surrounded by extreme poverty. Many people searched and craved for a life worth living. People, even children, were begging for money and carrying heavy baskets filled with food on their head just to get enough money to support their family.
I am applying to the Masters of Global Affairs at the Munk School to pursue my interest of studying global healthcare development and its impact on the global system and in reverse the impact global systems have on healthcare. I am in my fourth year of studies and I am graduating this June. My academic background at the University Of Toronto in Equity Studies, Diaspora Transnational Studies, and South Asian Studies has impacted my aspiration to pursue a future in this field. The courses that I have taken throughout my undergraduate study have provided me with the opportunity and the desire to explore how equitable, cultural, economic, and political innovations have been amplified through the enhanced era of globalization and how this has immensely
I possess a strong vision for my goal to become a an art educator, which has been impacted by my previous experiences and commitment in the arts through textile design, fine art, fashion design, and teaching. This interest in the arts was fostered throughout my education at the Langley Fine Arts School, and my BFA degree from all-women’s college Moore College of Art and Design. In my degree, I majored in fine art with minors in textile design and art history. This opportunity was brought into fruition through the Women’s Visionary Scholarship, and the Board of Trustees Scholarship that were awarded to me to be able to attend this institution.
