3. THE EMPTY TOMBS MEANS ….SAME POWER SAME POWER.
Ephesians 1 : 19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honour at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms
In 1980, there was an incredible explosion which was estimated at 500 times more powerful than the force of the atomic bomb that destroyed Hiroshima. This explosion occurred in the state of Washington, and it was the eruption of the Mount St Helens Volcano.
Attempts are made from time to time to describe the power contained in this universe. The truth is that man hasn't begun to comprehend the limitless power of God. We see a display of His power in the resurrection of

But its in Saturday that our faith needs to kick in, Everything looks dark and gloomy. But our faith is what allows us to change "It’s Saturday and it is finished" to ITS SUNDAY AND ITS ONLY JUST BEGAN
Our faith needs to shout back: "No, it is NOT finished!"
His death has taken place, but the only thing finished is sin, death, hell and the grave!
As those woman walked to the tomb on the Sunday morning they were walking with a Saturday mindset because they had realised that a giant obstacle stood in their way. The STONE!
Any maybe today we are also stuck in Saturday because we have stones stuck in our lives—stones of fear, rebellion, despair, or discouragement, doubt?
Do they loom so large, you surrender at the thought of even trying to remove them? Or have you tried, only to realize that no amount of heaving or shoving would budge them?
The obstacles are not made of stone, but they seem just as massive and powerful—and you feel helpless to remove them.
Whatever those stones—or circumstances—are, Satan would want you to think that they are immovable. Want you to remain in darkenss so that you cannot see a way out... or
David McCullough, in his Wellesley High School Commencement Address, utilizes imagery to convey to his audience that each individual possesses the same common potential. While addressing the graduating class of 2012, McCullough makes a point to emphasize how unexceptional the students are. By bringing to light the fact that the students are all wearing the same “ceremonial costume…shapeless, uniform, one-size-fits-all” (McCullough 1), he illustrates the conformity of the crowd. By depicting the cap and gown, McCullough demonstrates that each student at the ceremony are at the same level.

In the same paragraph he repeats the phrase stone dead for exanple, “Yes, he was stone, stone dead… He was stone dead.” By repeating that he was stone dead it emphasizes the madness of the narrator. To add on, in paragraph 8, the narrator repeats the key word “stealthily,” to express the cautions he took while opening the door. To wrap up the
He runs down to the church and sees fire and many people running and crying. He finds a hole in the wall so he climbs through it into the church. He finds his Joetta’s shoe and runs back home and crys. Soon later his family comes home and Joetta is with them. He is relived.
"Now the night is coming to an end, The sun will rise and we will try again." With a new day comes a new chance at life. The night ending brings the end of the past and the start
JFK once said, " Mankind must put an end to war or war will put an end to mankind." In 1939 Albert Einstein had written the US president of the potential to build a nuclear weapon. The US entrance into the war on December 7th of 1941 led to the president creating the Manhattan Project in 1942 where the atomic bomb was developed. On August 6th of 1945 US president Truman ordered the bombing of Hiroshima using the atomic bomb, 3 days later he ordered a second bomb to be dropped in Nagasaki. The US was justified in using the atomic bomb to end WWII because, America's technology was their greatest achievement, during the time of war death is inevitable, and Japan ignored all warnings given by America.
Throughout reading “Commencement Speech, Kenyon College”, I found this short story very inspiring to read as I found myself doing more research for this essay because I was so interested in it. Wallace was very reluctant to give this speech because he wasn’t sure he was ready to talk in front of 400 graduates and what if what he had to say was ordinary not something that would stick with all these students the rest of their lives. Reading this speech through the first time the tone particularly stuck out to me, a direct yet casualness in the way he made his argument really made this go from ordinary to extraordinary. Starting off with water and ending with water tied the essay into one big loop with many messages within it but a central message central the main idea water. Water comes within many forms like ice, evaporation, solid liquid, colored or even clear and so many more.

The egyptians had felt that whatever was buried with, in, or around their tomb would be brought with them when they died. Historians can also learn from the paintings on the walls of the Pyramid which describe the deceased person 's life. This is important because it helps us understand how the Egyptians lived a long time ago (Primary
Good morning professor Jason, I am not agree with my final grade, I did everything you asked for. I was always active in the class, I did all my homework, and I was on the top with my discussion posts in blackboard and yellowdig. Also, I never saw how many points you give us from yellowdig. Can you please explain me how you break down my grade? Thank you in advance, Respectfully, Elizabeth Benitez
“No answer still. I thrust a torch through the remaining aperture and let it fall within. There came forth in return only a jingling of the bells. My heart grew sick... I forced the last stone into its position; I plastered it up.
Hydrogen bombs are more than 1000 times more powerful than the very common atomic bomb. The explosion is from nuclear fusion which is when hydrogen nuclei (plural of nucleus) are joined to form helium nuclei, releasing great destructive energy and radioactive fallout. When the nuclei combine there is a split second where there is nothing and then there is the explosion. An atomic bomb is the trigger or the smaller bomb of what sets off the hydrogen bomb. We have to be careful with the hydrogen bomb because, if used, it will cause a major catastrophe far greater than the damage done by the atomic bomb.
2. Quotation: “When people die they are sometimes put into a coffin, which means that they don’t mix with the earth for a very long time until the wood of the coffin rots.” “But mother was cremated. This means she was put into a coffin and burned and ground up and turned into ash and smoke.” (pg.33) Response: This gives a bit of knowledge to the reader about what happens to people after death and what
Killing himself was probably what he thought was best for him to do. The stone could signify that how one’s action has a consequence that could come back and hit you right in the
In the speech “Steve Jobs Commencement Address to Stanford University, Class of 2005” , Apple CEO Steve Jobs provides his audience with personal experiences and the rough periods he went through in his early years before founding apple that helped him succeed. With the use of his stories Jobs creates a character that prevails through obstacles and manages to achieve his goals, which inspires his audience to look up to him and show that failure is sometimes necessary to succeed. At the beginning of his speech, Steve Jobs begins describing his life with a series of stories that helped him reach his success, this helps Jobs create ethos because his audience will understand the hardships he went through to be where he is today, instead of just thinking of Jobs as the founder of Apple and not really knowing about the struggles he had to go through.
