Hera is the Greek Goddess of marriage, childbirth, women and Queen of the Greek Gods. The Olympian gods are much of a family; they are all related in some way. Zeus was well known for being a father to the gods. He had fathered many children to many different women. The story of Zeus was a story based on the uprising of a son against the wrongdoings of his father. Zeus was the son of Cronus, supreme leader of the universe, and Rhea (Parada).
They were Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, and Demeter. Although she was the patron of marriage, hers wasn’t a very prosperous union. Zeus needed a wife and had fallen in love with Hera. They had courted a couple of times, but after many failed attempts to win her heart he devised a plan. He tricked her by turning himself into a sick cuckoo bird.
She was the daughter of Zeus; her birth is unique in that she did not have a mother. Instead, she sprang full grown and clad in armor from Zeus ' forehead. She was fierce and brave in battle; however, she only took part in wars that defended the state and home from outside enemies. She was the patron of the city, handcraft, and agriculture. She invented the bridle, which permitted man to tame horses, the trumpet, the flute, the pot, the rake, the plow, the yoke, the ship, and the chariot.
Poseidon’s siblings were Hades, Demeter, Hestia, Hera and Zeus. Poseidon was famous because he made the first horse. Poseidon was the God of the sea. Zeus, one of his brothers, is the God of the sky. Hades, who didn’t even get a chance to pick what he wanted to be the God of, but of course had to be the God of the underworld.
