to get out of eating the eggs and ham. The character is not keeping an open mind about new experiences. He judges everything that he comes across. During the whole story the main character was judging the green eggs and ham, because he thought it looked nasty. You never know if you are going to like something until you try it. Good friends push each other through life to face their fears and experience new adventures. Even though their friendship was rough in the beginning, they got through it together.
Life can lead you on many different paths, and you want to try to live life the fullest. So go try something, because it may turn out great. And always keep an open mind because there is something your missing if you don't. Through a comparison of the eggs to fear, judgement, and friendship, the author pulled these themes together during the adventure the characters experienced. When the character first saw the eggs and ham he felt they would taste disgusting. And he was scared to try it. But the friendship was the whole story, because over time the encouragement
