1. INTRODUCTION 1.1. Grundfos Grundfos is the sector's largest pump brand, founded in Denmark. It has an annual production of greater than 12 million pump items which include circulator pumps (UP), submersible pumps (SP), and centrifugal pumps (CR). Grundfos also produces electrical motors for the pumps as well as electric motors for separate merchandising. Grundfos develops and sells electronics for controls for pumps and different programs. 1.2. History The late Poul Due Jensen established Grundfos in 1945 in Bjerringbro. After contacting the Building Material Suppliers, my Findings are as based in FIG 2 below. b. 15% of the Building Materials Suppliers keep the pumps with the required specifications 90% of which deal with International Brands of pumps namely Pedrollo (Italy), Crane (USA), KSB (Germany), Davey (Australia), Rafello (Italy) and a few more well-known brands. The rest 5% of them deal with Indian Brands such as Prakash Pumps and CRI Pumps c. 38% of the Building Materials Suppliers either keep pumps for industrial applications only or do not keep the pumps at all.
