Fantasy genre is a broad genre that occupies many kinds of stories. It has many sub-genres and each has its own features. Comic fantasy combines both fantastic elements and comedy. Its main purpose is to entertain the reader.
In fact, she states that “ suspense, shock, surprises are mostly abjured in favor of a steady inexorable plot. Science fiction films invite a dispassionate, aesthetic view of destruction and violence--a technological view” (332). In other words, science fiction films, only contain
"Good science fiction is intelligent.” It asks big questions that are on people's minds. It's not impossible. It has some sort of root in the abstract. "-Nicolas Cage. The quote by Nicolas Cage includes that science fiction is not impossible, this is how many writers also portray science fiction.
Spaceships were often associated with science fiction and are still associated with it till this day. “Science fiction became space fiction. All rocketeers were science fiction readers it is safe to say in Germany as in the USA” Aldiss and Wingrove (1989). Based on source B, “... fiction and nonfiction do tend to deploy different methods for getting to the truth. Fiction, we have been told, tells the truth but it slant.” It is claiming that fiction is just a different way of presenting nonfiction. The literal definition for Science Fiction by Oxford Dictionaries is ‘Fiction based on imagined future scientific or technological advances and major social or environmental changes.’ Which, when put into context with the movie Inception itself, at first glance obviously refers to the dram technology.
