I drew a roller coaster called Gum Drop Forest. The riders will experience crazy loops and turns. At one point the riders are upside down. The height of Gum Drop Forest is three-hundred feet tall. There is six cars that visitors can ride on which weighs one thousand, three hundred twenty-two. The roller coaster is candy themed just like the rest of the park. The structure of the roller coaster is red and white striped resembling a candy cane. The riders must be at least four foot tall to ride on Gum Drop Forest. Riders must sign a waver to agree to only have fun and have a smile on their face! The average speed of the roller coaster is eighty-one miles per hour and accelerates pretty quickly.

If you are crazy and do not know what amusement park is being talking about, it is called Trident. There many of twisty turn, upside down roller coasters. There are bumper cars, roller coasters, and even a drop tower. The roller coasters names are Gum Drop Forest and Candy Striper. The fun, challenging game with candy cars is called BenderFender. The drop tower is called Candy Drop, again based on a candy theme, just like the entire park. Having a candy themed park often make visitors hungry. In the middle of the theme park there in a huge chocolate fountain with chocolate rivers located all around the park. Trident is one of the only known chocolate fountain and all candy themed of course known to exist in all of the universe. Trident even offers public restrooms! Trident is similar to real life amusement parks because it has all the same rides and is fun as real life ones. We hope to see you soon!
The Book “Amusing The Million”, written by John F. Kasson describes how the amusement parks in Coney Island changed the attitude towards new cultures in the United States. Kasson talks about the era of famous amusement parks which began in 1895 before the first world war. These amusement parks were an effort to bring together the different cultures seen in the urban cities. Coney Island was a cultural accommodation for all the people who desired adventure and excitement.

Each of them have a unique design, that would cause it to have special features for each individual ride. Each had a basic metal structure, but an individual outline. My favorite consisted of steep inclines and fast drops, that would leave the passenger feeling heavier than they would normally. I also loved the rapid rate of speed during a ride. It was most interesting that we got to learn the engineering process of a roller coaster.
Amusement parks reached their climax in the 1920s. The 1920’s were a time of strong economic growth and made Coney Island very successfull. Engineers of roller coasters created faster and higher roller coasters, bumper cars, and vertigo spinning rides. Coney Island is most well known for their Wonder Wheel. A 24 car ferris wheel that sits 150ft in the air.
This ride has many properties of physics involved. It is important to have certain things so it has the correct amount of stuff so you don’t die on the rollercoaster. Overall, it was fun to interact with real life roller coasters instead of simulations in order to get a better understanding of physical properties that go into roller coasters. It was a great trip even though the time did get

A stand up coaster is a steel coaster you stand up in and most stand up rides have bicycle like seats between you and the shoulder harness to keep you from falling out. A steel flying coaster allows riders to feel like they have taken flight on an out of control plane ride in the middle of a roller coaster park. At the station, the train sits at 90 degrees with the track to allow riders to get on. After that the train is propped up parallel with the track so they are looking straight down at the floor. For the longest time had I been asking to go here, the day has finally came. I was nine then, my first time at Cedar Point (other then when I was like two or three but I don’t count that) and for most of the car ride I was all smiles. My family would look out and see who could be the first one to find the roller coasters. I thought it took forever to get through the car lines-being an anxious and impatient girl-
As the cars go pulled up, they gain potential energy. At the peak, the carts have the highest amount of potential energy. Roller coaster carts gain sufficient energy from the lift hill, so that they can be powered throughout the ride. Once the carts are in motion, they won’t stop unless the brakes are applied at the end of the
The operator then repeated the same facts as he did the last group. “You will first take a 30 second ride up to the top of the 230 tower. Then, suspended at the top, you will be dropped at speeds of 70 miles per hour. Enjoy you ride on the Superman: Tower of Power!” The ride then roared to life as we slowly began the climb to the top of the
INTRODUCTION The goal of this group project was to design and build an original paper model marble roller coaster that must be able to transport a marble from start to finish without interruptions. The design had to be unique and thrilling but safe; and the marble must come to a complete stop at the end of the roller coaster. The track should have the following components: at least two hills, one loop and one turn, and if possible a jump.
From many reviews, the rides were exhilarating, although mainly for older teen aged visitors. The lines aren’t too long, and many adults would enjoy it, because whenever my family and I go it’s not super crowded and wait time isn’t to bad. Next is their food. They have a pretty wide selection. Anywhere from the classic funnel cakes and fries to pulled pork, subs, and even chinese.
