There should be gun control in the United States. It seems that a growing amount of accidental shootings take place in our nation.The safety of ourselves and fellow citizens is in jeopardy.
Like I mentioned before, the amount of accidental shootings in the U.S. is horrendous.
From 2005-2010, almost 3,800 people in the U.S. died from unintentional shootings. However, accidental gun deaths occur mainly in those under 25 years old. Restrictions on public usage of guns, especially in younger ages, can perhaps help the safety of others. The amount of children playing with guns is alarming as well. A study published in the Journal of Pediatrics regarding adult firearm storage practices found that over 1.69 million
