‘’Guns are responsible for over thirty-three thousand deaths in the United States annually, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).. In 2014, the CDC reported that 11,008 of the 15,872 homicides committed in the United States that year involved a firearm. Of the 42,826 suicides reported that year, 21,386 involved a firearm. These statistics have inspired efforts at the federal and state levels to enact gun control legislation to reduce crime and violence’’(‘’Gun Control’’). According to the statistic guns are held for over 33,000 deaths in the United States.

SYG defenders suggest, “highly publicized gun training programs or defensive gun use, followed by extensive media coverage may produce changes in criminal behavior” (Fair 167). By doing this, supporters are trying to make criminals realize that citizens are able to shoot if necessary. The idea is that criminals will now stop and think twice before attacking because they are unable to determine who is carrying a gun and if they will use

While Gun control laws can never be to strict, Gun Control in new jersey is very regulated because gun control is also pushing back on who can purchase, New jersey gun Laws are some of the strictest in the nation, and Firearms have to be transported safely. There are permits that you have to get before you can purchase a gun. There is also a concealed carriers permit you can get if you are in a domestic violence relationship. What many people forget about and where people get in trouble is when they are not being careful with their guns when they are on there property, even though you are on your property with a gun you still have to be careful with when you take it out.

Many schools in today’s society suffer from shootings at some point while children are attending school. Shootings in schools are not a new occurrence, and America has dealt with multiple shootings in public schools in which the lives of many children and teachers have been undeservingly taken (Elliott 528). Because of school shootings, this leaves our children in danger with no way to protect themselves. Gun violence in schools is an evident problem, and there are several ways to reduce the number of incidents, such as mental health screening for owners of guns, interconnectedness of communities, and more school funding.

What’s missing from the typical kindergartener’s backpack? A gun. The ultimate solution to gun violence is more guns, isn’t that obvious? We are in need of guns everywhere to the point where our nation needs armed guards in every school. They say the more guns we have, the more gun violence there is, but in fact it does the complete opposite and solves gun violence.

In order to protect children and their family members, they should be taught the proper way on how to shoot guns. Gun safety needs to be taught to children to promote more respect for firearms while improving education and decreasing gun violence (Foley). Many accidental shootings happened in America in the past two or three years. One example is, a three year old accidentally reach into his pregnant mother’s purse and took out her pistol and shot his mom and dad. Now the child has to live with all that for the rest of his life knowing he shot his mom and dad, in 2015 toddlers in the United State accidently shot one person per week.

Gun control problems Nowadays, we can hear the crimes related to guns from time to time, and each of them is scarified and influential. For example, the accident happened in Sandy Hook Elementary School leads to 20 deaths for primacy school students and 6 deaths for staffs. It is hard to imagine what degree of sadness in their family may suffer. In this way, many people think the government should have stronger gun control regulations.

Many accidental deaths happen each year by guns in the hands of people who do not know gun safety. People are concerned that the amount of guns available have allowed gun violence to run rampant throughout the United States. An estimation of the amount of people in the U.S. shot each year is staggering, “The Brady Campaign to Prevent Violence estimates that around 144,994 people are shot each year in the U.S.” (8 Facts). This data shows that thousands each year are shot in the United States, which includes the deaths of those killed each year. On, February 14, 2018, a mass school shooting in Florida got the nation’s attention, however, gun violence has always been an issue, and it is only getting worse. Now people are saying there needs to be something done, and there are many that agree. Starting off there should be stricter gun laws, because in today’s world it is too easy to get handguns and assault rifles. With, the capabilities a firearm holds, such as taking people’s lives there must be stricter restrictions that could help cut down the gun violence and save lives. Increasing the age of purchasing a firearm would be one step.

The use of and the owning of guns is a very hot and debated topic in society today. For many, this is a life and death debate due to the recent and numerous school shootings. These school shootings have caused an outcry for more gun control, specifically in relation to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. Despite these calls, increased gun control is not the answer. Most gun owners’ use their guns responsibly and for good purposes.

Gun Control Lately people have been using guns in a negative way and causing a bad effect on the world. People have been using guns inapropriatly and have been performing mass killings. If guns are being used by people then the people using them should know how to use them correctly, or not being a crazy lunatic. When I was 12 I was playing with a pistol and accidentally shot it, I wasn’t hurt and no one else was hurt but somebody could have been injured badly. Gun laws are the cause to a lot of the violent crimes in the united states and laws need to be changed so people can’t purchase guns as easily that way we aren’t in as much trouble.

This has an adverse impact on their mental, social, and physical health. Many may presume that once the child’s gun is confiscated, the problem is solved; however, this is far from reality; getting a gun away from a child is one objective, and the rehabilitation process is another. Amnesty International is running a campaign to raise awareness of this major underlying issue. The problem starts with society.

Today’s world is marked by violence and deaths. One of the major kinds of violence is the gun violence. In fact, the gun violence is literally any gun related violence or death. According to the 2013 report of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the number of gun related deaths were equal to 33169 or 1.3% of all deaths in the country.
